A pleasant stay in Rethymno
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay here - the rooms were clean and comfortable, with comfy beds and pillows, great A/C, excellent water pressure, and a nice big sink. The breakfast met all our needs, with lots of Greek options as well as eggs, bacon, etc. I liked the varieties of bread and pastry that changed daily! The owners and staff were lovely people, kind and very helpful with buying bus tickets and booking cabs and such. It's a bit of a walk to the town center, but super-close to Rethymno beach, easy to pop back and forth to the hotel if you forget your sunscreen :)

Cons:

Obviously the traffic is beyond the owners' control, but the mopeds in particular can be noisy at all hours. We used a noise-canceling phone app (MyNoise), which helped a lot! Sensitive folks might want to request a room on the side away from the street.

Posizione e colazione ok, non sembra un 3 stelle, bagno insufficente.
Pros:

Buona posizione x visitare la citta',buona colazione,ok aria condizionata.

Cons:

Bagno piccolo,con doccia con tenda, non adatta a un 3 stelle, quasi impossibile trovare un parcheggio nelle vicinanze in agosto, le donne delle pulizie fanno rumore gia' alle 7 del mattino.

Frokosten var helt ok, verken mer eller mindre. Veldig god kaffe.

Cons:

Rommet og balkongen var det minste jeg noen gang har bodd på. Så greit nok for ei natt men hadde ikke klart å bo der i ei uke.

Excellent hotel. Superb service and helpful friendly owners. Would highly recommend.
Pros:

My family and I (wife and three children) stayed at the family-run Astali Hotel for three nights whilst visiting Rethymno for a family wedding. We booked through booking.com and regularly communicated with the Hotel via that app. We had a few requests due to our early arrival and Marios was exceptionally responsive and helpful. The family owners really make you feel very welcome and valued as their guest. The hotel itself is perfectly located and has all amenities you could need. The rooms are spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard.
I have stayed in many hotels in Europe and beyond before but this was the only hotel which I feel I should strongly recommend.

Buena situación al lado de la playa y a 10 minutos del centro. Personal del hotel muy agradable y predispuesto. Aparqué al lado del hotel gracias al recepcionista. Buen desayuno con zumo de naranja exprimido por uno mismo. Me hicieron un upgrade así que gracias por ello. Para finalizar decir que el hotel es algo antiguo pero a mí me valió, pero si te gusta el lujo este no es tu sitio.
