Très bien placé et confortable
Pros:

Petit hôtel très bien placé, qui permet de tout faire à pied.
Personnel très agréable et disponible.

A family-run hotel at the best location possible
Pros:

It was our third stay at Astali. I believe this is the best location in Rethymno. The old city and the beach is only a few minutes walking distance. The staff is absolutely kind, we always enjoy our stay. See you next year ;)

Cons:

The sewers are a problem in the city, they can be smelly, but this is not something that the hotel can control...

Lovely family- run hotel with great location and wonderful staff
Pros:

We loved everything about our stay.
PROS:
. Very convenient location close to a beautiful stretch of the beach, the port and the old town
- Lovely mother-son team running the hotel: friendly, helpful and efficient. Always there to answer your questions and offer advice
- Excellent breakfast with Cretan/Greek specialties, fresh orange juice on top of your regular continental breakfast options.
CONS:
Not much to complain about. The washroom is a bit small and gets wet when you shower but that wasn't a big deal for us.

Highly recommend Crete and this gem of a hotel

Pros:

Hele schone kamers, fijne bedden, heel lekker ontbijt, familie Astali is erg gastvrij en erg vriendelijk .

Cons:

waarom toch altijd de te kleine douche met douchegordijn( al was deze wel superfris) in Griekenland

Passable mais beaucoup de choses à revoir
Pros:

Localisation centrale pour ce petit hôtel. Parking gratuit dans la rue, j'ai trouvé une place devant directement ! Petit déj correct mais rien de fou.

Cons:

La chambre était tres petite. Le rideau de douche qui colle aux f*sses en 2025 ca n'est plus autorisé... Pas de plaid ou couette, un drap plié : il faut faire le lit soit même. Vue sur une cour intérieure sans interêt. Ascenseur minuscule (1 personne)

I would probably stay there again.
Pros:

Good hotel. The location is excellent, not far from the sea and the old town. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is generally good and without excess. I was especially pleased to find an iron in the room — a small detail, but very convenient.

Cons:

The only thing I really disliked was the shower curtain — it was a nightmare, always trying to stick to you. Apart from that, I have no complaints

Pros:

I cant say enough good things about my stay at Astali Hotel. Everyone working there is so incredibly nice and everything you need is right around the corner. They made my stay in Rethymno very memorable and if I ever come back ill be staying at Astali Hotel again.

Lovely hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Very conveniently located Hotel, 5 minutes to the beach or marina with it access to shops and restaurants. Good breakfast, clean room, comfy bed. Very friendly and pleasant in general. I really enjoyed my stay there

Μια χαρά! Τέλειο σημείο.
Pros:

Πολύ descent ως προς τη σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής. Είναι σε σούπερ κεντρικό σημείο οπότε μετράει πολύ. Έχει μπαλκονάκι και είναι καθαρά! Έχει επίσης καλό ίντερνετ. Οι καθαρίστριες όταν τους είπαμε αν μπορούν να έρθουν σε μία ώρα αντί για την ώρα που έπρεπε δέχτηκαν! Πολύ εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό γενικά, με γρατζούνησε μια γάτα και μου έφεραν οινόπνευμα, μπεταντίν και βαμβάκι!

Cons:

Δυστυχώς, οι πετσέτες είχαν μία περίεργη μυρωδιά.. Δε μύριζαν δηλαδή την κλασική καθαριότητα. Επιπλέον, η ηχομόνωση ήταν πολύ κακή... Ακούγαμε τις καθαρίστριες και δυσκολευόμασταν να κοιμηθούμε ή να συνεχίσουμε τον ύπνο μας... Επίσης, είναι πολύ μικρός ο χώρος - βέβαια αυτό το αναμέναμε από την περιγραφή, απλώς το αναφέρω. Επίσης, θέλαμε ένα δεύτερο στρώμα αλλά δεν είχαν - βέβαια ήμασταν σε διπλό κρεβάτι και είχαν ήδη ένα διπλό στρώμα, απλώς δεν ήμασταν ζευγάρι και προτιμούσαμε ο καθένας να έχει το στρώμα του. Κατά τ' άλλα πολύ κομπλέ!

Das Hotel war für meine drei Nächte nur eine Notlösung, da für meinen kurzfristigen Zeitraum keine Mietwohnung mehr frei
