Moshamanla Hotel - Ximen Branch

Great location, decently clean. Some stains on the carpet but nothing major. AC was very good, so was the wifi. TV sound didnt work well when connected to HDMI for watching movies on iPad or laptop.

The hotel is at a good location - Walking distance to Ximending night market streets, Taipei Main Station, Ximen MRT station, National Museum, NTU hospital MRT station. also with many shopping and food options.

However, the hotel itself needs some maintenance and upgrading.
The bathroom hot/cold water mixer was hard to adjust, my family almost get burnt by the sudden spouted of hot water.
The hotel is sharing the same building with pool table club (basement), night club/karaoke (from floor 2-7), hotel rooms (8-9 floor).
The hotel room's walls are thin, therefore we can hear all the noises from those clubs and anyone walking by.

The property is not looks like in the photo totally different and the name of the hotel is Lido. Near to shopping Ximen and the WiFi is very strong but the cleanliness is bad although i have ask to clean but the debris and the hair still appear in the toilet basin. My room has mosquitoes flying around and the bed maybe have bed bug. The lights is very dim..

With its price and location this is a very good accommodation. Very near with a lot of local stores and Ximending Night Market. Mineral water is provided free everyday. My only concern is the cleanliness of the room, i dont think they use vacuum in cleaning it but its okay anyways you are just there to have your bags safe and a place to sleep. The room is pretty spacious and the CR too is good has hot shower and free toiletries. If you have trouble locating the hotel just search for Fuxing Park Wanhua it is just across the park.

Room is clean. Shower is excellent. The hot water is super hot which is great for those who like to use the bath in your room. Location is great. You only need minutes to walk to Xiamen shopping district and Ximen MRT and many other local bus stops. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Budget option in Ximending if you just want a place to sleep and is not particular about noise. Basic cleanniness is maintained while location is its main advantage with lots of eating options within walking distance from day till night.

They used fake pictures of a nice hotel and got there and it was really dirty

Things were OK, but there were some mechanical or system operating sounds disturbing rest.

My first disappointment with this hotel as we had previous great experience when we stayed here previous 2 times. It was so much below expectations after covid. The breakfast and laundry area was closed in view of covid restriction was understandable, so once you entered the hotel, you are greeted by darkness.

Bad : No free wifi in the room and reception was really bad in the room. Smelly sewage odor in the toilet. Bed and pillow too sinking soft.

Good: excellent housekeeping that will tidy up your room despite we didnt call for it.
Great location and basic room for budget traveller if you dont mind the above mention disadvantages.

It’s a great price. An older hotel but clean. Minutes from the heart of Ximending. A great restaurant and bar called The Last Order nearby. Friendly staff. English speaking.

The room size is big, no cabinet for clothes but the hungers. Old and smelly cause no window.
The location is good, a few steps to the ximen night market.
24 hours staff, helpful and friendly.

Ok stay for the price you pay. the corridor smell of smoke although the rooms should be non-smoking.
Aircon is blowing at me and the wind direction cannot change.

Friendly staff. Fast check in. A lot to do in Wanhua and Ximending. Tons of food options! Very clean room and comfortable. I’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast was online but we were notified upon arrival that they didn’t have breakfast this month. Additionally, the staircases has cigarette buds and stains all over. When we asked about the food they said to call hotels.com regarding the reservation.

everything good except is too far from MRT (around 600m)

Room is very clean. Location is right in the most popular area where has lots of restaurants, shopping, markets... subway station is nearby. Will comeback to stay.

The location is good, however, the condition of the room is below my expectation. Rooms have musty smell and carpet flooring looks old and unclean.
