Historic nature of building.
Could hear truck traffic occasionally. Bar wasn't open would have liked to have tried it.
We love historic hotels with character and charm.
The breakfast room was very comfortable and interesting. The food was excellent. Delicious coffee cake, a great green chile crustless quiche. The lady was very attentive and made our stay memorable with her stories of the hotel and it's history.
Wish the dinning room had been open on our stay.
Breakfast had a variety of food, kitchen prepared and very tasty. An added bonus for the stay
Nothing.
The staff was AMAZING. Loved the small town friendliness, starting from the very first greeting when we arrived, up until the moment we left.
We LOVED EVERY thing about our stay.
Cute historical building. Good history, with handy pamphlets for interested parties like us. Well-cared-for garden patio. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, one of whom told us about a scenic detour along our route to Colorado that was gorgeous - totally worth the extra time and never would have known to take it otherwise. Jack the hotel cat was a highlight.
I've had better breakfasts, though the breakfast lady was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. There was a some pet hair on the bedspread, so we must have been in a pet room despite not having a pet, which was mostly a bummer because my husband has allergies. Clean besides. We also missed the open nights for the bar, which was sad, though there was no helping that with our travel schedule!
Lovely historical hotel. The staff are extremely friendly, restaurant was pleasant with many friendly locals. Breskfast was healthy, and served with a smile.
Our dog was made very welcomed.
Location excellent. Breakfast was OK. The hotel is historic and the hosts are obviously trying hard to keep it going.
Room was small, with noisy air conditioner. The bathroom was great. Pillowcases were stained (reportedly a problem with the hotel’s new dryer).
Historic, great atmosphere.
Everything was great. The staff and service were outstanding. We visit this Hotel annually on our trip back from Colorado and it has never failed to meet our expctations.
For us everything was outstanding. We had no issues
Unique, comfortable
The place was beautiful decorated and the restaurant hostess was so nice!
This is a historic hotel in a western town. It is decorated appropriately for its age and well cared for. The management is very present and helpful. The breakfast was more than the standard hotel fare. We had an excellent burrito and coffee cake.
This is not an unexpected feature but the rooms are small.
Historic hotel with lots of charm.
