Maresca Hotel Praiano

Outstanding location and staff; couldn’t recommend this place enough for Praiano!

This is a gem! Very well situated in the most beautiful Praiano, even better than Positano or Sorrento. Near the beach, 700 meter. Next to a bus stop. 20 minutes busdrive from Praiano to Positano and Amalfi. Near very good restaurants, you can walk to each one. The rooms are stunning with a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. Very very good breakfasts with coffee, pastries, eggs etc. The rooms are gorgeous with clean fresh sheets and airconditioned rooms. To top it off…the staff are amazing, friendly, helpful. This was an amazing stay!!

Breakfast was great! They always had pastries, yogurts, fruits, juices, espresso, coffee and eggs. Pretty much all you could want for breakfast, and it was amazing to eat on the terrace. Great view with great food.
You are only a 10 minute walk from the beach/marina, I'm pretty sure it is one of the closer hotels to the beach as well.. If you walk the main road to it, there is also an atm on the way there, which is helpful since most the water taxi services take cash.
You are right next to a bus stop which can take you through the city or to different ones nearby (didn't use it but it's there).
Rooms are spacious, well kept, clean and with their own AC.
I highly suggest listening to Antonio's advice. He helped set up travel to and from the airport, which on the way back we paid a little extra to stop at Pompeii which was cool. He also gave us suggestions on what to do depending on where we were going. This was extremely helpful as we went to Amalfi and also wanted to go to Ravelo (25 min bus ride from Amalfi), he helped set us up with a water taxi) by recommending to go to Ravelo as soon as you get to Amalfi, since it is a bit more touristy. So, closer to the middle of the day there are more people, so go first thing to not wait for room on a bus or shuttle and explore up there. Also, the old paper mill tour is cool.
Anyways, we had an amazing time, this is an amazing place to stay, will probably stay here again if we stay in Praiano again!

Great terrace for breakfast and afternoon drinks. Large room with garden terrace. Comfy bed…good air con and ceiling fans.
Staff were a delight. A nice relief from the crowds in Amalfie and Positano. Really nice restaurants nearby if you like stairs!

Excellent breakfast served by super attentive staff. Views from heaven, clean and personable family run hotel. if the opportunity arises I will book this again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maresca in Praiano. The hotel has a lovely rustic charm and feels genuinely family-run, which made it much more personal than staying in a larger hotel. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to share recommendations and local information.

Our room and the entire hotel were spotless throughout our stay. Each morning we looked forward to breakfast, especially the delicious cappuccinos and freshly made omelettes. The happy hour was also a great touch and the perfect way to relax while taking in the stunning sea views.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach and ideally situated for exploring Praiano and the Amalfi Coast. Waking up to those beautiful views every day was a highlight of our trip.

We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Maresca to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and authentic Amalfi Coast experience.

Very nice facility and view

After spending time in the busy towns of Positano and Amalfi, this hotel was the perfect retreat. It's located in a quaint, peaceful town full of charm and character. The owners take exceptional pride in the property, keeping everything immaculate, and the views from both the room and dining area are absolutely spectacular.
Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. A local restaurant and convenience store are just steps away, while the marina is only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
If you're considering a room upgrade, I highly recommend choosing a sea-view room—it was absolutely worth it. We loved our stay and would happily return.
