Our stay at Dora’s exceeded our expectations! Dora and her family were so kind, generous and welcoming. As soon as we arrived Dora sat down with us and gave us all the tips and tricks of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from the proximity to the beach, to the amazing food and coffee available at the accommodation. We enjoyed being on the quieter side of the island but it was also very easy to get around on the local buses. We would highly recommend staying at Dora’s Hotel and will most definitely come back. We already miss her beautiful smile and nurturing energy. Thank you Dora for making our stay with you so special.

Homely feel, right at bus stop so easily accessible by public transport

Dora and her daughter welcomed us in kindest way possible, they guided us and gave tricks about all island (nice restaurants, shops and places to see and swim. They were helpful and also very nice chatting people. In addition when we needed pharmacy they contacted with locals and found us open pharmacy and its location at weekend.

Dora and Anna are extraordinary hosts who are warm-hearted, kind and always available for their guests' requests. They know everything about the island and their recommendations for restaurants, beaches and places to see were always perfect. The small hotel is a lovely place and a good starting point for excursions around Syros.

Dora and her daughter Anna were so warm, kind and hospitable and made us feel so at home. So much love has gone into this place; the apartment was spotless and spacious, the cafe area is so lovely to sit under a giant Bougainville and enjoy a cold beer or coffee. Our kids loved the play area and the fact we could walk to the beach in 2 minutes (a great beach for kids with shallow water and natural shade is just across the road). We had a better time here than many 4 or 5 star hotels. Thank you so much Dora, we will come back!

Everything was perfect. The apartment is just in front of a little beach (not the best of Syros) and the bus stop.

It's a beautiful place in a beautiful, quiet area. It has everything you need to cook, relax and really feel at home. You can feel the extra effort Dora and her family and staff put into the property to make it comfortable, special, and relaxing. Importantly, you can see the extra measures that are taken for cleanliness. Everyone is genuinely friendly, very personable, and respectful.

Don't forget to try the homemade food. I actually planned on cooking, but Dora's pies and salads were what I craved. I generally don't eat capers or onions, but those in the salad were sweet and really delicious. All ingredients local. There's also a beautiful breakfast spread for a very reasonable price with homemade marmalades and fresh ingredients. She also keeps the fridge at reception well stocked with drinks and snacks.

I got the seaview room, which was simple and perfect. Hot water all day, if you need it. Good water pressure. Fresh towels and linens. Small tables to eat inside and outside. I think from all the rooms you can hear the waves at night. There are two small beaches about a 1-min walk from the property. One is sandy the other rocky. Both super chill. Bus stop is right in front.

WiFi is excellent. I could have videocalls, so if you're thinking of a place to work from for a week or so, this was more than I could imagine. Having a swim on my lunch break was paradise.

Most of all, the hospitality. It's just a warm place with such good energy. I'm definitely going to return.

the owner is so friendly, she made our stay so pleasurable and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
the hotel is super cute, right on a beautiful beach and very close to a bus stop. the cheese and spinach pies made by Dora were amazing, would definitely recommend.

Family run hotel, they accept my family like some distance relatives, exceptionally kind and helpfull owners- Mustaka family, we feel like we are at home, perfect location for familly with small kids, 50 meters to peeble and sand beach, good bus connection to other places on the island etc.,etc......

Dora was really kind and welcoming to us. She always had time for their hosts :) The first day she gave us some maps and told us lots of tips about beaches, restaurants and things to visit in the town of Syros. Our apartment was always clean (shower curtain disinfected at the arrival, frequent change of towels,...). They really take care of us in a lovely way!
It's possible to have some delicious handmade snacks (pizza, panini, spinach pie, greek salad) prepared from Dora and to eat them in the terrace of the hotel. Spinach pie was the best for me !!
In case of daily trips, Dora prepared for us a breakfast box :)
