Chinna's Residency

I booked the hotel because it offers free wifi. However, the wifi was down and never got repaired on the day I lived in.

We just stayed overnight to attend a wedding, during the stay we had free wifi & good room service.

over all it is okay

I stayed for 3 days Feb 11-13 and they didn't "even once"
- cleaned my room, change blankets etc. Not even offered to do so.
- did not offer me water for 3 days!
- whenever I would dial 9, no one at the reception would answer
- they did not offer me the wifi password - I had to ask for it. Basically I had to ask for every basic necessity
- wifi was not working for 2 out of 3 days and every time I would complain they did not do a thing about it - especially the manager at night.

it was nice

This is a budget hotel that suited our needs perfectly. It was very clean in general including clean bed linen, and had a good supply of hot water for the shower in the en suite bathroom. It was ideally located for us, being a short walk from City Train Station. There was a decent restaurant just beside the hotel where we ate twice. Best of all, the manager and staff were friendly and extremely helpful - they allowed us to keep our room until evening on the day of check out at no extra cost, and also stored some of our luggage for us when we left for Hampi for a few days. I would be happy to return here any time. If you are looking for reasonably priced, decent budget accommodation you could do much worse than stay here.

it was quite nice

This hotel is centrally located near the Majestic Bus Park and not far from MG Road and the city center. Check in and check-out are available at all times. However, I cannot recommend this hotel. The room was dark, with windows facing out into a narrow shaft. There was effectively no natural light. In addition to the darkness it was dank and had an overall moldy smell that made me sick. The internet did not work. The staff at the front desk were minimally helpful, bordering on rude. Hot water was available though, and bed linens looked clean. There was some trash left from the last occupant. Overall, this hotel is fine if you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay near the bus park, but I really wouldn't recommend it if you have the option of alternate accommodation.

Good staff . Hot water all the time available. But lighting not good. The pathway to hotel is crowded and a bit isolated when returning from main areas after 8 pm.

Affordable option with reasonalbe comfort, good value for money, for one or two nights' stay in centralized location. Bus stand, railway station, commercial establishments, good restaurants are all easily reachable from this hotel.

Good Stay at reasonable rate

It was really good experience, rooms were clean. Service was good. We were provided with Hot water for bath. Very nice place for families to stay!!

Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel staff are OK. service is nice. good location, close to bus station and railway station. but there was some creep hotel staff who gave me frequent missed calls.

Was a pleasant experience to have stayed there for two days. Accessible from the bus stand, and got a good restaurant nearby. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel for the price they charge. Centrally located and close to busy shopping area. There was hot water all the time. The only negative point is that it was very difficult to locate the hotel and very hard to get to. It is on a very narrow lane off a one way street, and we had a real hard time getting to the hotel. Overall, a very pleasant stay

I ultimately enjoyed my stay. The description of the rooms did not represent what you actually received. I reserved an a/c room but that room was actually not air conditioned, the description was incorrect. However, after talked to the manager/owner of the hotel, I was immediately upgraded at no charge and no other problems or issues were encountered. Thank you Chinna Residency for your professionalism in this situation.
