Please note that there are steep stairs in the building and there is no elevator available.

After making a nonrefundable reservation, you will receive an email from the property requesting direct online payment by bank or with a credit card within 48 hours.

We loved being right on the canals, close to all the Amsterdam sights.

Locatie is uitstekend. Ontbijt was wat men nodig heeft.
Personeel vriendelijk en spreekt Nederlands wat altijd een pluspunt is.

Cons:

De eenpersoonskamers bevinden zich op het hoogste verdiep en er is geen lift. Op de website wordt met geen woord gerept en staan geen foto(s) van de 1 persoons kamer(s). De berichten die je constant krijgt via mail zijn in het Engels niet tegenstaande je boeking in het Nederlands is.
Bij deze hoge temperaturen waren er geen voorzieningen om de kamer wat af te koelen.

A great small Hotel to visit Amsterdam. Enjoyable stay. Some limitations
Pros:

Hotel in good location for various visits > Most walkable in 20 mins
Pleasant staff
Good WIFI - Didnt drop out, usual in hotels

Cons:

Tea / coffe making not in room > in a lounge on the ground floor
The stairs are very steep (Trad Dutch type ) As I am pensioner, I did struggle with them
Bathroom size, very small

The room was exactly as described; Truly Dutch charm, great to sit and watch people from our room,

Vacker utsikt från rummet och nära till Jordaans mysigaste område och så mycket god mat.
Pros:

Att vi fick en flaska vin och två vinglas när vi anlände! Vi hade endast sagt i ”särskilda önskemål” att det var vår smekmånad.

Cons:

Att läsa om alla som gnällde på trapporna inför vistelsen. Det var ju bara att GÅ! Lika bra med all god mat som fanns i närheten.

Good location , minimal amenitites
Pros:

The hotel was pleasant if in need of new carpets, but the room itself was quite basic. A fan for the heatwave would have been in place, a bit more than just soap and body wash and two hardworking towels. The bed was very very soft, but the duvet was great. The location is wonderful, the staff pleasant and responsive, the breakfast quite nice.

see above- too basic room and its amenities. I felt the price was higher than the value

sadece yatak rahattı diyebilirim. başka bir sevdiğimiz şey olmadı.

odalar küf kokuyor ve havasız. merdivenler çok dik 3. katta kaldık in çık çok zorladı. yaşlı insanlar için asla tercih edilmemesi gerek. odada vantilatör vardı içinde bu kadar toz olan başka bir alet hatırlamıyorum. serinletmiyordu zaten.

Pros:

The location was great, with only a 10 minute walk to lots of sights, shops, restaurants, and public transport. The room was a great size for our family of four (two rooms with pocket doors between). It was very nice having breakfast on site each morning. Authentic experience of staying in an old canal house.

Cons:

Due to the age of the building, the floors are very creaky. Since it is a few hundred years old, there is no elevator, only steep Dutch stairs. Also, since there is no AC, we slept with the windows open, but that let in a lot of city noise at night.

Great location in an old traditional Dutch hotel.
Pros:

I loved the location, the property was very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

On our first night one of the properties neighbours was having a very loud party, I was unsure if a nightclub or something was nearby fortunately not the other 2 nights were perfectly peaceful.
