Location is fabulous - central but quiet. Breakfast is also very nice

Breakfast was nice and the room it was in was very bright.
The location was great. There is a lovely fondue place down the street.
The stairs are very steep so it was challenging bringing the luggage up them. And there was no one to help.
The room was under the roof so it was baking. The fan didn't work. For reference, this was the very hot period in July. It'd be grand in normal times.

No tienen aire acondicionado. Los ventiladores que proporcionan son insuficientes para poder dormir decentemente como amerita durante el verano.
Ademas de eso el colchon es viejo incómodo, la almohada también. Y no te hacen limpieza del cuarto.

Great breakfast, clean room, friendly staff, nice coffee/tea availability all day, nice lounge. The location was especially great! It was a short walk to the Elandsgracht bus station/bus stops, with easy access to Schiphol. Lots of small restaurants within a few blocks; less than half an hour's walk from the Rijksmuseum. I also enjoyed the architectural quirkiness of the hotel, with the very steep stairs.
The weather was hot (not the fault of the hotel!). The hotel did provide a fan. However, there were only two outlets in the (quite small) room, and using the fan took one of them. Hot water pipes in the bathroom kept the bathroom extra warm, even though they had put insulation on some of the pipes. The price for the room was higher than I had hoped, but I suppose location in Amsterdam comes with that.

The location, the staff, beds were very comfortable, breakfast was a delicious Dutch breakfast.
Only downside would be no air conditioning during the hot weather.
Esta muy bien ubicado. Es como alojarte en el tiempo. Muy bueno conservar los detalles de estilo. El personal todos super amables y con mucha calidez. Las dimensiones del baño y la habitacion espectaculares y el desayuno muy completo y de calidad

The hotel is direct located by the canal parade route. It is very convenient to watch any kind of events in your room with two open windows. There are many cafe and an Albert Henji within a 3 mins walking distance.
This is a very old building so unfortunately no A/C or electrical door lock available. The reception will have you a physical key and will cost €500 to replace a new key.

Het was warm en er was een hele oude ventilator die nauwelijks frisse lucht blies. Echt te weinig voor zo’n hotel met deze prijs om in de enorme warmte te liggen
