Trip to see Menopause the Musical
Pros:

It was a good price for one night. The location is a 7 minute walk from the Civic where the show was.

Cons:

The room was very warm. Took a while to find the air cooler even the it was still hot. The room backed onto a noisy road and there were police cars and sirens going up and down. Reception staff upon arrival were efficient but not warm and friendly.

Great location and facilities
Pros:

Friendly staff, great location to CBD and access to dock for ferries, clean tidy smart room

Pros:

Pool, hot tub, sauna were all very nice after long flight. Room quite large and modern. Location close to restaurants, parks, and waterfront.

Great option for short or long stay in Auckland.
Pros:

Great location for exploring Auckland. Close to Albert Park, Ferry terminal and CBD. Loads of restaurants and cafes just out the door. Room itself was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was nice although we didn’t use it except for breakfast. Washer and dryer was amazing, especially after a week in The Cook Islands.staff was always very nice and helpful.

Wonderful building, room, and location
Pros:

The Avani was a wonderful base for my stay in Auckland. I got a harbor view suite, which was well worth it. I appreciated the building amenities, especially the spa/gym. The front desk staff were very obliging when I needed extra coffee pods and towels. The location is absolutely A+, very close to Queen Street shops as well as the harbor. It is also adjacent to a pretty park and very near University of Auckland.

Cons:

The main bummer was that the no-smoking policy for balconies wasn't enforced (not surprising - it's hard) and the chainsmoker below made it necessary to keep my windows closed a lot. The 10am checkout time was also earlier than I would've liked.
