Our First Visit to Gananoque
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. There were 2 double beds in our room. The bathroom was really clean. Overall, everything was very good.

The resort was very convenient for access to our boarding location for the 1000 Islands cruise (3 minutes away).

Cons:

Nothing to complain about!

Un retour dans le temps : un endroit calme et désuet mais plein de charme.
Pros:

Piscine non fréquentée donc pas de commentaire mais les installations semblent correctes.
Cadre agréable et calme un peu éloigné du centre et qui comme la ville a conservé son côté désuet qui fait son charme.
Hébergement correct pour un court séjour même si vétuste et propre : suffisant pour uniquement passer la nuit et visiter le jour.
Petit déjeuner simple et minimaliste mais suffisant pour nous : ne pas s'attendre à être servi.
Complexe hôtelier qui a du potentiel et qui mériterait d'être rajeuni. S'abstenir si vous recherchez de la modernité et du service.

Pros:

The whole place has a slightly run down charm. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean. Staff were pretty useless at communicating but when asked directly were helpful. With a little bit of thought and effort it could be a top place.

Clean grounds and clean room.

Downside: Paying for a King Deluxe room for the fireplace and it wasn't working. As said, we called the reception and were told that it might be ''frozen'' ... 15 degrees celsius ??? Plus that it was just there for ambiance and not to heat the room. Nowing that, we would have paid for a standard room or they could have given us a credit.

Déçus par l'établissement
Pros:

Bon point de départ pour visiter les 1000 iles. Calme.

Cons:

Il y a plusieurs parties distinctes dans l'établissement. Celle où nous étions, le bâtiment et les chambres auraient besoin d'un bon rafraichissement. D'après le nom du motel, on s'attendait à un chouette parc et on a profiter de rien, tout était fermé: restaurant, piscines, etc.

Over all the stay was as expected for the price we paid (which was not very much at all)
Pros:

The grounds were nice and Gananoque is beautiful. Check in was easy.

Cons:

The room was dated but exactly what I expected for the price paid. There was no indoor pool that I could find even though it says on the web site and the big sign right outside the resort that there is an indoor pool.

This is a quaint and charming looking place in a beautiful town. The room was alright as far as cleanliness goes, although a little dated. The washroom however has not been maintained in quite some time. The paint was bubbling and falling off the ceilings and walls, the bathtub grout and caulking was full of mold and gaps. We had a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, but there was no way we’d have used it based on what we saw. The shower head had a constant leak and the whole room smelt musky and damp.
