Hotel U Šimla Karlovy Vary chválím
Pros:

Pobyt pouze na jednu noc za účelem návštěvy hokeje. První bych chtěla vyjádřit velkou pochvalu obsluze,moc milá a příjemná paní na recepci,pro kterou nic není problém. Myslím,že tohle byl prototyp,který bych dosadila do všech hotelových recepcí.Hotel byl rekonstruován v roce 2004 a tomu odpovídá stav interiéru pokojů. Koberce již dlouho volají po výměně, sem tam oprýskaná barva, otevírající se dvířka zajištěna přeloženým papírem,chybějící krytky odtoku,těsnění za umyvadlem halabala. Ale co se týká čistoty,opět velká pochvala vše čisté a to i v místech,kam jindy oko uklízečky zabloudí jen občas. A do třetice chválím matrace,cestujeme hodně a matrace v hotelu U Šimla patří k těm rozhodně lepším.Ticho v hotelu spíš nebylo,ale to vždy záleží na jaké hotelové hosty narazíte.Snídaně skromnější,takový základ: vejce,salámy,sýry,párek,rohlík,chleba,káva čaj a sladká tečka vše chuťově dobré, chleba výborný ze zdejší pekárny Repré.Lokalita pro naše účely nejlepší=nejbližší k hokejové hale,prostředí přímo na dostihové dráze je atraktivní a ojedinělé,terasa hotelu nad závodní dráhou je rozhodně lákadlem.
Hotel doporučuji a nevidím důvod nevyužít jej při opakované návštěvě.

Cons:

Koupelnový textil mi přišel zatuchlý,ale manžel mě přesvědčil že se zřejmě jedná o aviváž,která jen výrazně nelahodila mým čichovým receptorům. Přesto bych doporučila kontrolu před výdejem z prádelny.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Pros:

Schönes , kleines Hotel mit sehr gemütlichem , geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Frühstücksraum. Ruhig gelegen , Bushaltestellen in der Nähe , zu Fuß am Fluss entlang ca 45min in die sehr schöne Stadt . Wanderweg zum Dianaturm („Hausberg „von Karlsbad) direkt hinterm Fluss (also über die Brücke , dann rechts halten).Frühstück ist überschaubar, aber es reicht , von allem ein bisschen vorhanden ( Obst, Brot, Brötchen, Müsli , Filterkaffee, Tee, Kuchen , etwas Käse und Wurst, abgepackte Marmelade und Honig , Säfte , Rührei, gekochtes Ei, Würstchen) Das angrenzende Lokal ist gut und günstig

Cons:

Wenn man im Lokal zu Abend isst , sind die Türen zum Hotel schon sehr früh geschlossen und man muss nach draußen gehen um zum Zimmer zu kommen. Teppichböden nicht mehr zeitgemäß, da unhygienisch
