In general the stay was very comfortable.
Pros:

A lovely, small, and friendly hotel near Schloss Schönbrunn. A tram stop is just 20 meters from the hotel and takes you to the nearest metro station in a few minutes, making it easy to get to the city center quickly. The staff is very friendly. The room was small but clean and cozy. The breakfast was also fabulous.

Cons:

The only downside was the poor sound insulation, as noise from the corridor could be heard easily.

Gute Lage, für Kurzaufenthalt geeignet
Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück, Personal beim Frühstück sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sehr schöner Frühstücksraum mit Sicht auf Schloss Schönbrunn.
Gut erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, Straßenbahnhaltestelle ca. 50 m entfernt, Penny Markt direkt daneben.

Cons:

Bei den Preisen gibt es große Schwankungen, von günstig bis überteuert. Ich habe dieses Jahr bis Ende Mai, 4 Mal in diesem Hotel übernachtet.
Angeblich wurde das Hotel vor Kurzem komplett renoviert. Davon ist leider nichts zu merken. Ich kenne das Hotel seit 6 Jahren, die Möbel sind mittlerweile zum Teil stark abgenutzt, die Fensehgeräte bzw. die Fernbedienungen dazu ebenso...
WLAN funktioniert nicht immer, bzw. sehr langsam.
Nach wie vor fehlt eine Minibar oder Kühlschrank und ein Zimmersafe....
Mittlerweile kostet das Parken in der Tiefgarage des Hotels 20 Euro pro Tag für Hotelgäste. Früher hat es 15 Euro gekostet, bzw. war sogar eine Zeit lang kostenlos für Hotelgäste. Im Februar 2026 wurde dafür sogar geworben. Seit der erneuten Übernahme des Hotels, hat sich einiges nicht gerade zum Positiven entwickelt...Auf meine Bitte einige Sachen im Kühlschrank an der Rezeption zu deponieren (war früher nie ein Problem) hat einer der Rezeptionisten (ein neuer Mitarbeiter) geantwortet, ich kann dafür die Minibar in meinem Zimmer nutzen... Offenbar hat er gar nicht gewußt, daß im Zimmer keine Minibar oder Kühlschrank vorhanden ist. Auch hat er nicht gewußt oder so getan, daß er nicht wüsste, als ich den Kühlschrank im Aufenthaltsraum der Mitarbeiter hinter der Rezeption erwähnt habe. Es kann nicht sein, daß ein Rezeptionist der während seiner Arbeitzeit mehrere Stunden in dem Aufenthaltsraum verbringt, den Kühlschrank übersieht...
Sein Kollege hat den Kühlschrank schnell "gefunden" und ich konnte letztendlich einige Getränke dort deponieren.Fernbedienung für die Fernseher oft kaputt, bzw. die Batterie leer.

das Zimmer war viel kleiner als in der Buchung angegeben. Kahles Zimmer, ohne Bilder an den Wänden, Putz kam schon runter. Kein Kleiderschrank, nur ein Hochregal mit 2 Kleiderbügeln für 3 Leute. Beim Frühstück liefen 2 Gäste barfüssig rum. Das Personal hat nix gesagt...Atmosphäre wie in einer Jugendherberge. Ganz schlimm.

Sehr gutes Frühstück

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage ist ausgefallen, laut Hotelrezeption passiert das aber ohnehin öfter. Ebenfalls hat das Licht im Zimmer mal funktioniert, mal nicht. Es wurde zwar versucht, ein anderes Zimmer zu finden, leider ohne Erfolg. Ermäßigungen oder Rückerstattungen wurden vom Hotel verweigert.
