It was a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Would definitely consider staying here again.
Pros:

Location downtown was great as we were able to walk from the hotel to the Centennial Concert Hall in 5 minutes. It was quiet & clean. Price was reasonable, even with the addition of the parking fee. We were able to order supper from a nearby restaurant, which was delivered to the hotel & added to our room cost. This was very convenient, especially since it was so cold outside!

Cons:

When the temperature in the room was too hot, we turned down the thermostat a degree or two, which unfortunately caused the heating/cooling system on the wall to blow cold air into the room in order to reach the desired temperature. It was a bit uncomfortable to have the cold air blowing on us for a while, but certainly not a deal breaker in deciding whether I would stay her again or not :)

Cons:

Working in the hotel industry overseeing multiple properties, I was surprised and unhappy with the fact that after extending my stay from 4 days to 5 days, I was unable to get a late checkout, which resulted in me having to sit in the lobby for over 2 hours.

Processes are poor.

Relaxing stay
Pros:

We went to Mere Hotel for a one night staycation for my husband’s bday. We had a very relaxing stay. And we got a complimentary late check out for his bday. Thank you so much Mere Hotel! Additionally, the room is clean and love the bathroom amenities.

The only thing though is that there are not so many food options in the area. So if you want to have a budget experience, you can order online and have it delivered. The hotel allows you to order out since they don’t have a restaurant. They have a vending machine on the 3rd floor if you want snacks.

Overall, we had a great stay. We stayed here for our wedding night before. And now, we stayed with our little one 😊

Pros:

Omg the front layout was astonishing and the lobby was very spacious sparkly and Satisfying... the rooms were great and beds comfy.... nice view of the Museum...

Cons:

The TV could have been better... Netflix maybe and have microwave in the rooms so we can warm up food. Have an actual fridge...

Cons:

Chinese weekend desk person has to be informed about Western culture. He is very Asian in his dealing with conflict. I tell you this not as slight against Asian people but to make his path in hospitality easier. He comes off as confrontational and aggressive. He did solve the disagreement but a more uptight client might have escalated the conversation and would hate to see your employee when he gets aggressive for real. The rest of your staff were polite and helpful. I will come back and stay next visit to Winnipeg
