Lovely house, I would go back again.
Pros:

The owner was very kind to give us a short but interesting history of area and recommendation for restaurants. It was like coming back own home, privacy was respected. Location is amazing, it is so close to the harbor but quiet street. Room is very clean and spacious. I appreciated coffee and coffee machine in the room. (Wine glasses are nice although we did not use them.) Also, he was good with communicating with us.

Cons:

We were bit struggled with showered water flooding outside until we get used. No lift in the house was hard for my friend who carried bigger suitcase to bring it up stairs, but hey it is an old house.

Excellent location in the old town - the port is just around the corner with beautiful views. The sea is at the end of the street. Hot showers, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Two beautiful sea and beach walks on your doorstep. Very helpful staff.

Une belle arrivée en Crète
Pros:

Emplacement exceptionnel, proche à la fois du vieux port et de la vielle ville. L’endroit est calme, les chambres sont confortables et d’une propreté impeccable. Autre point fort, l’arrivée en autonomie totale, guidée par notre hôte, Stravos, qui a été d’une amabilité et d’une disponibilité remarquable. Cerise sur le gâteau, la petite flasque mystérieuse qui nous attendais sur la table.

Tolle Lage und saubere Unterkunft mit nettem Gastgeber in der Altstadt von Chania
Pros:

Die Lage in der Altstadt ist ausgezeichnet und die Entfernung zu kostenlosen Parkplätzen noch erträglich. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Bett war sehr gut. Der Gastgeber ist äußerst freundlich und man fühlt sich willkommen. Eine Flasche kretischer Wein und ein Fläschchen Raki standen zur Begrüßung bereit.

Cons:

Für gehbehinderte Meschen ist die Unterkunft wegen den Treppen (Zwischengeschosse) weniger geeignet.

Stavros and George’s place is great, we thoroughly recommend.
Pros:

Great location on the old town, so picturesque and with lovely relaxed vibe. Nice cafes and restaurants within easy reach.

Cons:

The property is wonderful. The parking is more difficult because it’s a very popular part of town but we always found a space in the end, sometimes nearer the hotel than others!

Pros:

Wir waren für 2 Nächte hier. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Tolle Lage am ruhigen Rand der Altstadt, und doch nur wenige Gehminuten vom Kern der Altstadt entfernt. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Wir reisen viel, selten sind wir so einem sympathischen Gastgeber wie Georgios begegnet. Seine liebevolle und herzliche Art haben uns sofort in den Bann gezogen. Wir würden immer wieder hier herkommen und vermissen die Zeit schon jetzt.

Excellent location, wonderful and responsive host for a local experience in the old town
Pros:

Stavros the host was such a delight! Upon arrival, he texted to check if we checked in alright. He also provided a bunch of local tips, and was very responsive towards any questions I have via WhatsApp - recommended restaurants, local marts... and he shared with me about Sardine Day! (It's a day the locals grill sardines and give it out for free along the beach)
The room was very clean, and was well equipped. There was even a little free bottle of Raki :)
While Casa Veneta is in the old town, it is located more towards the edge of the old town, so it isn't as noisy at night... But you still get the convenience of being walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the old town.

Cons:

The room did have quite a bit of steps, and the toilet was on the lower level of the room while the bedroom was on the higher level. I was ok with it, but not ideal for my mum who has trouble walking.

Pros:

Central location in the Venetian part of Chania. The room had a small balcony to watch the world go by on the street below.
Plenty of room if you don't mind a few stairs.
