The service that we experienced has been one of the best ever. The resort and its philosophy of farm to table and a calming environment were amazing
Amazing! A true jewel on the edge of the Kathmandu valley.
We had some issue during the check in but they accommodated us well later. Certainly worth the visit and stay! Takes you even closer to the nature and yourself!
Dwarikas Resort is very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Pleasant, nice, worth the money spend
Beautiful setting!
Horrible staff. Rude behaviour
It was out-of-this-world, a slice of heaven on earth experience. Will definitely return!
Awesome place, TOP notch service!
I have found the staff very warm and attentive. Service is top notch. They would go out all the ways to make sure that we were comfortable e.g bringing us blankets and hot water bottles when I said I was feeling cold during dinner. The resort is quite big with restaurants, yoga, swimming pool, meditation ground and activities rooms spread over the premises. Staff was always around to make sure that we were not lost and would escort us to the relevant place if needed. I would also like to say thank you to my spa therapist. I had a foot massage on the last day after checking out. I didn’t feel quite well during the massage, probably because I just had lunch and it was not a good idea to lie face down on the massage bed. My therapist was very caring.
Dwarika's resort is a beautiful resort with stunning views. The staff are friendly and are willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay a memorable one
Couple of things to note. The food in main restaurant could and should have been better. The hotel is secluded and you are relying on eating at the hotel and we were disappointed
It's also worth mentioning that the hotel is secluded and is absolutely fantadtic if you are looking for total relaxation but it is not practical if you are looking to do a lot of excursions to Kathmandu
Overall still a great hotel
Amazing Zen experience at hotel - activities and service are all 5 star. Caution on winter months, rooms are cold (duckless a/c as heat source sub optimal), yet staff quick to help
Excellent property, just little improvement on food
Incredible place, secluded yet everything you could want. Absolutely stunningly and brilliant staff
Peace, beauty, the most gorgeous grounds, and facilities and staff who can never do enough for you. Totally magical.
Nice view, excellent room! But too many stairs!!! Breakfast not many choices! Dinner is good!
We had a late flight and arrived at the hotel at midnight. Hotel staffs were waiting at the door step and checked wtih us if we need to have dinner. We were not that hungry and did not want to wake up the kitchen staff. We opted to have some fruits and waited to have early breakfast in the morning. We appreciated their kind effort. The hotel was very nice and comfort in a very scenary set. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were excellent and the prices were quite reasonable compared to other 5-star hotels.
Most of the activities there, such as Yoga, Meditation, Pottery, Painting etc. were inclusive of the room price. We went to many activities and these were great opportunites for family bonding. How often can you go to a Yoga class with your grown-up son?
The staff were all friendly. This was truly a memorable experience for my family.
Breath taking place and amazing facilities.
Amazing staff.
This is absolutely my favorite hotel ever. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for, and it is worth every penny. If you are on a budget, it is worth the splurge to spend at least one day here.
The campus is enormous and situated on a lush green hillside—a great retreat after a few days in Kathmandu. The resort is peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. Staff is gracious and accommodating, and rooms are meticulously appointed for your comfort—in a natural, luxurious kind of way. There is also a range of activities and amenities from typical spa treatment to crystal meditation rooms and other treatments that represent the true spiritual nature of Nepal. Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it here.
I'll start by saying this is one of the most lovely places I have ever stayed. Truly wondrous location with amazing energy. The rooms (apartments!) are beautifully decorated and sympathetic in bespoke hand made furniture. Everywhere there are authentic and original touches that are just right. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is not just extraordinary, but genuine. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed with real warmth and care, something I had not experienced in any other hotel in Nepal.
The location is sublime, I spent hours just walking around and sitting at the top on the resort looking out over the Himalayays. Its really quite an overwhelming experience, especially after a hectic week of business in Kathmandu.
Whilst only visiting for one night I left rejuvenated and even without the cold I had been harbouring for the entire previous week.
The massage and other treatments I had in the spar were the best I have had anywhere and actually good value.
Honestly the place is a delight. I havent spent a more enjoyable 24 hours anywhere. I'll be back again soon.
