Das Abendessen im Restaurant und das freundliche Personal

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Fluss, d.h. es ist extrem laut auch bei geschlossenem Fenster. Ohne Ohrstöpsel war es wirklich unmöglich zu schlafen. Zudem ist es wegen der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit schimmelig und die Fenster waren immer klatsch nass.
Für eim 4 Sterne Hotel extrem schlecht.

Das Bett war komisch positioniert, so dass man auf einer Seite gar nicht ran kam, weil es so nah am der Wand war. Hatten daher nur ein Nachttisch und nicht wie auf dem Bild. Platz hat es eigentlich genug, warum schiebt man es nicht ein bisschen zur Seite??

Falling Asleep to the Urubamba River
Pros:

One of the best hotels in Aguas Calientes. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were very comfortable, and we had a beautiful mountain and river view. Falling asleep to the sound of the Urubamba River was an amazing experience.

El personal fue muy agradable y atento

Cons:

El alojamiento está entre el río y la vía de tren. Los cristales y la habitación temblaban al pasar el tren. El ruido continuo del Río puede llegar a ser muy irritante si no estás acostumbrado a dormir tan cerca del Río. No pude descansar en toda la noche.

not exactly good value for money
Pros:

the room was clean but in need of renovation - it was extremely noise due to the proximity to the train rail (everything shook each time train passed) - the toilet broke and we had to get someone to fix it - additionally the room was very humid and smelled weirdly (we tried turning on the heating to dry and help improve) - overall disappointed given the proce tag

Great Stay!
Pros:

We stayed here one night after our Inca Trail day hike. The hotel is located near the bus drop off from Machu Picchu and town. They have a free water filter which was nice to fill up our water bottles. The room was nice and spacious. We were on the 5th floor and didn't hear much street noise. The room had AC which was wonderful so I was able to get a nice night's sleep w/the noise and air. The shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was free and a buffet of eggs, toast, etc. We enjoyed our stay and if ever in town will stay here again.

Pros:

Was just what we needed for a one night stay on a visit to see Machu Picchu. Great location for getting the early morning bus at 6am. We used a new bus company called Torontoy and there was virtually no queueing compared to the other one. The bus stop was only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast from 5am was also helpful and made the whole visit more enjoyable as we had read horror stories about queuing.
