Very crowded area, the smell in hallways was terrible.

Good location for walking around old town and night bazaar areas.

The place was great value to stay with. It was a 5-10-minute walk to most of the old city. It even featured a tourist office 30 seconds away so you aren't really far from anything.

We stayed at their two-bedroom hotel room. The beddings were clean and comfortable. The room had everything that we needed. I appreciate the high tech items in the room such as the Smart TV where we could play YouTube and other apps, as well as the alarm and bluetooth speakers.

Breakfast had a wide choice for us, both Western and Thai options. I enjoyed the chicken dishes they served every day of our stay.

But the staff was the best part. They provided us with useful advice and arranged a breakfast box for us on the last day when we had to leave for the airport before the breakfast hall opened. They were also helpful in helping us book a taxi.

I would certainly consider staying here again in the future.

Enjoyed my stay

The location in nice and quiet, very close to the Thapai gate on a 5 minute walk, also the old city is very close too. Plenty on Hood food places, bars, temples & night markets nearby too. This hotel possibly has the coldest pool in Thailand due to it being permanently under a roof so always in the shade. Only downside I think is the breakfast is quite basic quality, the juice is maybe from concentrate or watered down. I would still definitely stay here again though.

It was a bit in the middle of nowhere

Have stayed here on numerous occasions, but the last was pre-Covid. Staff are nice, food in restaurant good. Surprised to see the conditions of the room has somewhat gone downhill. The hotel is in dire need of an uplift. The room I stayed in could use a new coat of paint and some remodeling. Not sure how old the hotel is, but there is a need to upgrade and remodel. Perhaps Covid had an impact and the hotel could not afford to make necessary improvements, but hopefully they’re in a better position today.
The location is good, convenient to surrounding temples, night markets, restaurants and the Old City!

Very good hotel. Pleasant staff good lication just outside the old city gate. Easy access to the Sunday night market.

Stayed 5 nights here in Feb. Nice big room and staff were lovely. Good selection at breakfast. Easy walk or grab to most places.

We received warm welcome after a tiring flight. Then we actually booked a transport picked up. The hotel arranged the transport pick up for us. The driver arranged by the hotel arrived and picked us at the airport on time. The drive was very comfortable and pleasant.

Location is very convenient , can access to many nearby eateries. A short walking distance to night bazaar and market . Room is spacious and clean. Front desk is very friendly. Breakfast is decent and delicious. Will return. We arranged a airport transfer pick up with fee. All good.

Perfect location to walk to everything from Night Bazaar to Old town and all the temples. Room was very clean and made up daily and spa was wonderful. Drinks at the bar were made perfectly. Check in was easy. They arranged for a car to pick us up since we had to be out at 4:30 am

They charged me for a towel that they said I stained. I told them I didn’t. They said I should look at the towel before using it. Really.. I got out of shower unfolded it and used it to wipe myself. They charged me 900 baht (About $40 CDN)when I complained they waived 50%. Terrible. I asked for glass of ice they wanted to charge me. Pool is not outside, cold water, only 3 chairs by pool. Breakfast terrible. Horrible place

So far very impressed, our travel company had to move our booking to the De Chai due to the closure of the hotel we originally had booked. And I am blessed they did. Lovely little boutique hotel, our room is huge and immaculately clean. Great location and staff very welcoming

Beautiful hotel. Easy check-in and great English spoken. Super close walk to 7-11 store and city center. The room was quiet and comfortable.

This would be my #1 choice anytime I visit Chiang Mae, the location could not be more perfect. On a quiet side street but just a few minutes walk to be in the heart of everything. You are just minutes walk to the city gate and the main road is gorgeous lit up at night and just teaming with vendors at night when they close it to vehicle traffic. If you do a tour they usually charge extra if you are not inside the old city walls but on all our tours they gave us the free hotel pickup because we were so convenient right where we were. The rooms were so peaceful, the staff just incredible, the location could not have been more perfect and there is a 7-11 handy right at the top of the block. The bedding was perfect, plenty of room, we hated to leave, will definitely be our first choice every time.

Clean, centrally located, safe. Breakfast was included and wonderful with good variety.
