Location in a quiet safe area near the airport.
It's a room in a private house. I hated to have to disturb them every time i wanted to go out and come in by ringing a doorbell. My mistake. I prefer to stay in a place with a private entrance. Cash only so i had to go to an ATM and pay a lot just to withdraw a little money as i was leaving the country.
Dogs barking late at night
My reservation was set at $15 USD - They tried to charge me $22 USD: I said no; complete scam. Do not recommend staying here.

Cheap and pretty close to the bus station. Host was helpful when we were hungry and ordered delivery late at night. The hostel is inside a locked gate so it feels extra safe.
It was pretty noisy, people coming and going all night long. It also feels like staying at someone's house but not in the best way. Our room was just next to a big living room where the host watched TV pretty loud late at night when we were tired. Good for maybe a night but not more.

Safe neighborhood, great room, a quiet place.
We actually only had 4 hours in this lovely Casa as we arrived super late and had a bus to catch. But the experience was really good - the lady that let us in was smiley and helpful even though we had a language barrier and it was late! The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
It’s like a prison
Freezing cold, uncomfortable bed, translucent doors so the light enters in the morning, feels like a prison. Couldn’t sleep at all there, would not recommend

Small family-run hotel in a quiet neighborhood (cul de sac) not too from the airport, in walking distance to an area with plenty of restaurants, bars etc. Ideal for a night of layover in between flights. The room I got was simple but big enough and had a window to the front where there is a park, unfortunately it had rained that afternoon and quite a number of mosquitoes made their way into the room (the window was open for some time in evening, so it's not the hotel's fault). Some of the inside rooms seemed a little small from the outside. WiFi was fast and reception good in most parts of the hotel, owners are very helpful and friendly. Didn't try the included breakfast since I had to leave early. Value for the price is okay,
