Great hotel all round …
Pros:

We booked this hotel by chance as we checked out of the Hyatt as our room was not acceptable.
The new world was an excellent find, staff very helpful, room outstanding, location and facilities great and excellent choice of food.. the hotel seemed new and fresh..

Great breakfast spread, location is great, pool is nice, large rooms

Cons:

Rooms are certainly dated.

I have never slept on such an uncomfortable bed. This was not a matter of soft vs hard mattress preference. This was clearly a cheap, boxspring mattress - i could feel the coils. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor.

For such a premium price and 5 stars, I would expect a good night's rest. I recommend spending 20% more at the Hilton and get a good night's rest.

Great property, needs
Pros:

Beautiful property close to many major tourist attractions in Beijing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the spa facilities were very nice too. Good breakfasts!

Cons:

The beds were absolutely too hard. This was shocking in an otherwise 5 star hotel. Other reviewers had also mentioned this. If they at least added good pillows, that might help, but they were bad too. It was also a little farther from the subway than I expected. But Didis are inexpensive in Beijing.

Pros:

La chambre était très spacieuse avec une très belle salle de bain. Le petit-déj’ était plutôt pas mal ainsi que le repas du soir bien que plutôt centré sur la gastronomie chinoise

Cons:

Il y avait des traces de fuite d’eau dans la chambre sur les murs et quelques meubles. C’est dommage pour le restaurant le café et le cappuccino était vraiment pas top.

Pros:

Tolle und sehr große Suite. Bett hart, aber gerade noch okay. Kaffeemaschine und gute Pflegeprodukte. Frühstück hervorragend - frisch gepresste Säfte. Schwimmbad groß und sehr schön. Fitnesscenter ebenfalls gut. Alles in allem eine Empfehlung.

Cons:

Lage ist nicht so optimal. Lange Wege zur Metro. Personal spricht nur unzureichend Englisch. Das macht es ein bisschen mühsam.
