Der Ausblick ist ein Traum, das Personal war sehr nett. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war in Ordnung.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück gab es nur einen Kaffeeautomaten für alle, das war eindeutig zu wenig, die hatte dann einen Fehler und keiner hat sich darum gekümmert. Obwohl wir bereits um 09:00 beim Frühstück waren (bis 11:00 gibt es Frühstück) waren viele Sachen leer und es hat ewig gedauert bis jemand etwas nachfüllt. Das mag alles Jammern auf hohem Niveau sein aber in dieser Preisklasse würde ich mir besseren Service erwarten. Man bezahlt also nur für den Ausblick.

Ich hatte große Erwartungen an das Melia immerhin ist es ein 5-Stern-Haus. Von meinem Zimmer (903) war ich dann aber enttäuscht, das war sehr einfach. Am Fenster ist eine Folie aufgeklebt die ein Gitter darstellen soll. Möglicherweise ist es eine Aufschrift die man von außen wahrnehmen kann. Von innen wirkt es als wäre man im Gefängnis, die Aussicht kann man jedenfalls nur bedingt genießen. Ich hätte insgesamt eine höhere Design-Qualität erwartet, ich war im Oktober im W in Hongkong, ich hatte das Melia auf diesem Niveau erwartet. Allgemein ist es schwierig sich zurecht zu finden, im gesamten Quartier. Den Weg zur U-Bahn habe ich über die Baustelle des zweiten DC-Towers gefunden der gerade nebenan errichtet wird, das war sicher nicht der offizielle Weg.

Hotel gut, frühstück schlecht
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Bar und das Personal abends sehr lustig und wirklich ansprechend. Die Zimmer waren sauber.

Cons:

Für ein Hotel dieser Klasse ist das Frühstück leider wirkkich sehr schlecht. Tlw. Verdorbene deko auf eingetrockneten Käse u. Wurstplatten.
Wir sind oft in dieser Hotelkategorie unterwegs,aber sowenig Auswahl hatten wir nicht mal in No names Hotels. Und wir haben tlw. Länger auf Nachschub gewartet, weiters die Hygjene beim Tisch aufdecken war wirklich grenzwertig. Tlw. wurden die liegen gebliebenen Servietten vom Vorkunden, weiterverwendet, keine handschuhe, sowie wurde auch der Tischabwisch fetzen direkt beim Besteck gehalten um besser das Besteck aufdecken zu können. Leider wurden auch keine grossen ykaffeebecher nachgefüllt, daher waren meine Kinder gezwungen ihre heisse Schokolade in einer kleinen Tasse die immer über ging zu trinken..
