Vulcano Hotel Chiang Mai

Good place to stay in Nimmam area of Chiang Mai. The guest house is family run and they care about their guests. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

The room had dirty sheets and was not clean. Left the hotel and went to another for the night.

For my personal purposes it worked very well , but it’s about personal taste. Clean room , clean bathroom ( but not for everyone preference if you are a very picky person) , great comfortable bed, clean sheets, has a mini fridge with welcome drink ( water ). I really enjoyed my staying in Chiang Mai at Vulcano hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet street. The rooms (mine was called 'studio') are not very large, but beautifully decorated.
The down sides are: (i) no table to sit at and type/write: not the best option for a business stay (ii) wifi not reliable: kept going off and back on; again, not convenient if one needs to write e-mail, send documents etc (iii) at night, 2 nights out of 4 there was some noise of neighbours talking loudly and banging doors (well, not a huge bang, but enough to wake one up): the sound insulation is not very good.

ห้องสะอาดดี แคบนิดเดียว ห้องน้ำประตูเลื่อนฝืดปิดยากห้องน้ำพอดีๆไม่แคบไป body lotion หอมมาก อาหารเช้าให้เลือกเองเลือกข้าวต้ม กับข้าวผัดอร่อยค่ะ แต่ให้เยอะมากๆๆๆกินไม่หมดเลย เสียดายที่ไม่มีที่จอดรถ

Sleeping / living area:
Very comfortable bed and linens!
Lots of big windows for natural light but also good blinds to keep heart and light out in the morning
Compact area but still lots of storage space plus safe box and mini fridge

Bathroom:
Great large shower with good pressure
Neat sliding panels on glass shower walls to let light in if you want

Hotel:
Friendly staff, perfect location

We will definitely stay again!

Tivemos uma ótima estadia nesse hotel, apesar de não ter muito luxo a equipe é super competente e simpática, sempre muito solícitos. A localização é ok. Limpeza boa, ar condicionado funciona bem e o café da manhã tem um cardápio fixo mas é super justo.
Indico jantar no restaurante do próprio hotel que é muito farto com preços ótimos.

Hotel very close to Nimman , Hotel staff is very fliendly and warm welcome to serve a very very good service.
The overall Hotel is very cheap price when you compare with service and your convenience.

I was happy to check out of Vulcano Hotel. I booked it because it advertised large room area of 30 sq. met. - in fact it was no more than 20 sq. met. Wi-fi didn't work, and the staff claimed it was because I am a foreigner: in fact I am Thai resident with a phone bought in Thailand. There is no parking except on the public road. Old, frayed towels in the bathroom, and worst of all, the water temperature in the shower was completely uncontrollable: either scalding hot or stone cold. Room safe didn't work. Floors and surfaces were not clean. I consider the hotel overpriced and misrepresented. You can get much better. Also, there is considerable aircraft noise from the nearby airport during daytime and early evening. No tea or coffee making facility in the room.

The shower'a temperature was uncontrollable and the Wifi connection using my iPhone was bad — in fact I had no connection. Apparently, it had something to do with Apple products. I was told that if you had a Samsung phone your connection to the Wifi would be ok. Apart from that the overall experience was good.

It's located at Nimman. Easy to find food to eat. The room is clean and has more space in the room. Bed is comfortable. The room price is cheap, value for your money. There is no parking space at this hotel, but you can park your car on the road in front of hotel, only 1-2 cars parking lots.

The room is so cozy and upgraded for some reasons. The staffs are ok.

Nice clean and tidy room. Not good view but receptionist was very good service also the Daddy restaurant the staff are very nice. Food quiet expensive but it's a lot until we can't finish it. We stay with 2 years old boy for 2 nights. We do really love their service. ห้องสะอาด เรียบร้อย ถึงแม้ว่าวิวจะไม่สวยก็ตาม พนักงานต้อนรับดูแลเราดีมาก และ พนักงานใน ร้านอาหาร แดดดี้ ด้วยค่ะ อาหารในร้าน ค่อยข้างแพง แต่ให้เยอะมากทายไม่หมดสักอย่าง

the room was beautiful. i was very surprised when i walked in the room, it was beautiful. I walked in and in wow started taking pictures. I went to breakfast and didn't feel well. I asked the motel employee to feel my head to see if I was hot. the look on her face spook volumes. she said oooh went and got a cool cloth and put it on my neck and head. she also had aspirin in her hand and gave me three of them, by request on amount. then asked if I wanted to go to hospital. I said I only go to Dr if i need to be sown back together or internal organ damage. my opinion is the hotel we great the staff is amazing.
