Una settimana piacevole
Pros:

Stanza comoda e ben arredata, con frigo, bollitore, cassaforte, ferro da stiro, TV. La piscina sul roof discretamente grande e panoramica, lettini in numero sufficiente per tutti, mai avuto problemi a trovarne liberi, nonostante fossimo in altissima stagione

Cons:

Nessuna criticità particolare, potrei dire che la zona non è silenziosissima, ma siamo al centro della movida di san Julian, impossibile sperare nel silenzio assoluto, ma personalmente non è stato un problema

Was a good location with good facilities .
Pros:

After being checked in by an inexperienced receptionist the manager stepped in to provide a professions experience which included preparing my room for earlier check in which was much appreciated .

Cons:

That there was no designated smoking area at the roof top pool. Smiling and vaping was allowed in the pool and the whole roof top area . No smoke free zone .although there was an aircon in the rooms and a ceiling fan the cooling was quite inefficient for the room .

Construction everywhere - not worth the value of the hotel prices.

Nice open reception and bar - Clean.

The construction surrounding the hotel is madness - cranes everywhere and the noise was outrageous.
The cranes directly outside are working on the joint building next door so the noise was like being in the construction woke us up every morning one morning at 6:30am. (not the hotel fault, but could definitely reduce prices for rooms attached to that building or pre-warn customers) The materials being transported one day actually hit our balcony whilst on the balcony honestly mad that we were not prewarned. The entire outside location was a construction site.
Unfortunately I complained at the end of the holiday, again my mistake, and the solution was a late check out that day.... in the same noise filled room... For the price of the hotel vs the reality it was not worth it at-all. Would be a lovely hotel otherwise, to charge full regular cost for the room is not right.
The cost of drinks on the roof top is way too expensive - a beer of maltese brewed beer is 6.5 euros... in a sit down fancy restaurant it's 3.5 euros. Not allowed to bring your own drink to the rooftop either.
Really disappointed as we spent way more than we hoped for a nicer hotel but it was just not worth the money.

Review of hotel valentine
Pros:

Location excellent, close to Saint Julian’s night life. However the area of Saint Julian’s is a little bit trashy and tacky. Atmosphere was good, occasional loud music from guests however in peak season this is to be expected. Room was small but it was big enough for two young girls, we requested a balcony which was accommodated by staff. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially those in reception. In our room the air conditioning was a bit dodgey and the hairdryer didn’t work. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was definitely worth the money if nightclubs etc are a scene the guest enjoys.
