The overall experience at this facility was very disappointing.

On our first night, a loud alarm went off in the middle of the night and continued for a long time. When we tried to call reception, we discovered that the phone in our room was not working at all. We then went down to reception, only to be told that there was an issue with the alarm system and they were unable to turn it off.

On our last night, there was no hot water. We were informed that the boiler was broken and would not be fixed until the following morning. As we had to leave early, my children were forced to shower in cold water, which was very uncomfortable.

The breakfast was also very poor. There were very limited options, and the same items were served every day. Over the weekend, when the hotel became busier, the quantity of food did not increase. Items would run out quickly and were not replenished, or seemed to be kept aside for “important” guests. Some sausages are simply cut smaller to make it “looks more”.

Overall, this was not an acceptable experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

Fast alles: Zimmer zwar frisch renoviert, aber Wasserhahn und Türgriffe 50 Jahre alt, keine Handtuchhaken, keine Ablage im Bad, Terrasse über Tritt durch Fenster, Bett mit uralter Auflage und ohne Bezug. Extrem hellhörig, kann man nicht schlafen, Gang dahinter Tür offen, Durchzug wie in Grönland, Essenssaal laut mit 50 Jahre alten Gardinen, kaputten Tischen und Stühlen, katastrophales Frühstück, mäßiges Abendessen, überall uralte, ekelhafte asiatische Kunst und Vorhänge, total abgenutzte und verrostete Armaturen und Metallmülleimer....
Nach einer Nacht sofort abgereist, absolut untragbar!!!!!! Kann und darf man nicht anbieten.

We had dinner the first night and it was very good. The staff were exceptional. Breakfast excellent again your staff are excellent.

After a long drive, having to cart your luggage from the car spot on the main road it was difficult. We feel we should have been met outside by a staff member when we arrived. We asked people where and how to get to Reception! You need clear signs pointing to where we could find reception.

Que las chicas de la recepción no eran muy amables y me quisieron cobrar doble a lo que ya me iba me dice pague y yo ya había pagado. Las chicas del desayuno en cambio eran maravillosas super atentas y buenas pero en recepción súper mal las dos que me atendieron

Fantastic location and gorgeous views!
Pros:

Fantastic location for exploring the Amalfi coast. Being so close to the train/bus station made travelling around so much easier. A gorgeous view from the terraces to Mount Vesuvius and Naples. Offered a decent choice of foods for breakfast and supplies were replenished often. Plenty of local restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. The staff were lovely, very friendly and so helpful.

One of the best hotel experiences we have had.
Pros:

What a wonderful hotel. My husband and I have just returned from a two week stay and cannot praise this hotel enough. Our room was spacious and kept spotlessly clean. The bed was enormous and comfortable. We had a lovely sea view looking across to the bay of Naples. Our balcony was a bit on the small side but adequate.
The breakfast was plentiful and, no matter what time we arrived during the breakfast slot, there was always plenty of choice. Dinner was a la carte and delicious every night. I can highly recommend the risotto! We felt the bottled water we had at the table every evening was a bit pricey, but that's a small complaint.
The small private beach is a 10 minute walk downhill from the hotel (there is a shuttle bus provided on request). The attendant at the beach was very friendly and helpful.
The train station is just across the road, which was very convenient for getting into Sorrento (15 minutes). We also took the train to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum (you need to change trains for Herculaneum).
What was exceptional about this hotel was the staff. Everyone, without exception, was so kind, patient, friendly and helpful. The cleaners, the reception staff and the team in the dining room. They all worked so hard to ensure everyone had the best holiday.

Amazing
Pros:

We stayed here for the last week of August. It is a beautiful building in an excellent location. It's a two minute walk to the train station, ten minutes to the beach and about five minutes to the main town. It overlooks the sea and mount Vesuvius in the distance. The jacuzzi is available to book for free for 40 minutes at a time but we didn't end up using it as we prefer the beach. Our room was very good and cleaned every day. Our room had a shared balcony with plenty of sun loungers which was also tidied every day. The walk down to the beach is very steep but we didn't end up using the shuttle bus as it's not as bad as you'd think walking back up. The sandy beach was gorgeous with lots of loungers which we took advantage of most days. There's also some reasonably priced bars and cafes close by to keep you hydrated and some clean toilets. The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, it was a buffet which didn't change but had decent options and lots of nice coffee and juice available. We would definitely stay here again.
