We had dinner the first night and it was very good. The staff were exceptional. Breakfast excellent again your staff are excellent.

Fantastic location for exploring the Amalfi coast. Being so close to the train/bus station made travelling around so much easier. A gorgeous view from the terraces to Mount Vesuvius and Naples. Offered a decent choice of foods for breakfast and supplies were replenished often. Plenty of local restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. The staff were lovely, very friendly and so helpful.

What a wonderful hotel. My husband and I have just returned from a two week stay and cannot praise this hotel enough. Our room was spacious and kept spotlessly clean. The bed was enormous and comfortable. We had a lovely sea view looking across to the bay of Naples. Our balcony was a bit on the small side but adequate.
The breakfast was plentiful and, no matter what time we arrived during the breakfast slot, there was always plenty of choice. Dinner was a la carte and delicious every night. I can highly recommend the risotto! We felt the bottled water we had at the table every evening was a bit pricey, but that's a small complaint.
The small private beach is a 10 minute walk downhill from the hotel (there is a shuttle bus provided on request). The attendant at the beach was very friendly and helpful.
The train station is just across the road, which was very convenient for getting into Sorrento (15 minutes). We also took the train to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum (you need to change trains for Herculaneum).
What was exceptional about this hotel was the staff. Everyone, without exception, was so kind, patient, friendly and helpful. The cleaners, the reception staff and the team in the dining room. They all worked so hard to ensure everyone had the best holiday.

We stayed here for the last week of August. It is a beautiful building in an excellent location. It's a two minute walk to the train station, ten minutes to the beach and about five minutes to the main town. It overlooks the sea and mount Vesuvius in the distance. The jacuzzi is available to book for free for 40 minutes at a time but we didn't end up using it as we prefer the beach. Our room was very good and cleaned every day. Our room had a shared balcony with plenty of sun loungers which was also tidied every day. The walk down to the beach is very steep but we didn't end up using the shuttle bus as it's not as bad as you'd think walking back up. The sandy beach was gorgeous with lots of loungers which we took advantage of most days. There's also some reasonably priced bars and cafes close by to keep you hydrated and some clean toilets. The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, it was a buffet which didn't change but had decent options and lots of nice coffee and juice available. We would definitely stay here again.

Удобное местоположение отеля , рядом вокзал ( 5мин пешком ). Отель находится в бухте , есть бесплатный частный пляж, включены два лежака и зонт, к пляжу 10 минут пешком . У нас был очень хороший и большой трехместный номер ( нас было 2 взрослых и один ребенок 9лет ) . Также была терраса , с видом на море , были лежаки и зонты . В стоимость был включен поход в джакузи, который находился на террасе с видом на море . Нам очень понравилось пребывание в этом отеле , мы даже продлили проживание дополнительно на один день . Здесь мы действительно отдохнули и насладились отдыхом . Ужинали два раза в ресторане при отеле . Персонал в основном был очень доброжелательный, мы чувствовали себя как дома . Спасибо ☺️ Обязательно вернемся ! 😍

Hotel situato in una posizione strategica, sia per raggiungere il centro sia per la spiaggia, raggiungibile anche tramite servizio navetta. Il personale è stato accogliente, abbiamo ricevuto anche un upgrade della camera. La struttura in generale è dotata di molti servizi e comfort, il tutto a un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo rispetto alle strutture di zona.

The hotel Oriente in Vico Equense was advertised as a 4 star "Luxury" Hotel. In my honest opinion it isn't. Whilst it is clean and well air conditioned (Essentially) i t is need of a complete refurbishment. Internally, the reception area is probably the biggest aesthetically poor area as you walk in, with stark reminder of the "Covid" era and the big plastic screens at the small, high desk, felt very unsettling to be honest.
The advertisement ( through Love Holidays) states that they have a private beach, this is true but it is less than qaulity, very poor infact and part of a terrace of private beaches. The private beach is down and sharp inclined road and alleyway, Make sure you book the bus back! * people at a time in the wacky races bus on the way back, which is also bookable downwards i may add. The advert also states that towels for guests are available for the beach, they are, but at a charge of £2.50 per day per person! Take your own. I paid an upgrade cost for a luxury 3 bed room, i was so disappointed with it, it was anything but luxury, again clean but just old and poor qaulity fittings. The bathroom.........well, just needed a complete refurbishment, and they didnt supply and glasses in the room, just very flimsy paper cups, i assume this was so you couldn't break them on the tiled floors....?
It is built onto ? into a cliff face with no parking at all, even outside on the road, so drop off and collection was interesting to say the least. The staff were great though, no issues at all, friendly, helfull and excellent English.. I feel that the Hotel Oriente is not good value for money.

This hotel was perfect for a stay on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is in vico Equense, only a 13 minute train into sorrento (the train station is right outside the hotel) where you can go explore or get other transport from sorrento to positano, Capri and Amalfi. The train also provided easy access to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. Vico equence itself is also a beautiful town which is much less touristy than other places near by with pretty surroundings and has some great options of places to eat and drink.The hotel provides a great buffet style breakfast with some hot food (bacon sausages egg) and plenty of pastries, cereal, pancakes etc and hot drinks and fright juices. The hotel has its own free beach which was amazing as every other beach in vico equence, sorrento or positano you had to pay upwards of £25 for a beach chair but with this hotel it is free. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to get to and from the beach if needed but it really wasn’t a far walk down (and an incredibly scenic walk). The rooms were very clean with a mini fridge of drinks and some snacks you could buy.
Everything about this hotel was amazing for what we wanted (visiting all around the Amalfi coast) and provided a brilliant base for our travels and I would highly recommend and maybe even return to explore more of the beautiful Amalfi coast.

Italy itself makes an amazing holiday but this hotel meant that we were fed great in the mornings at breakfast and had easy access to all the other places we wanted to visit.
