Hotel Oriente

The bathroom and the room were spacious, the breakfast had good variety.

Panorama stupendo camera confortevole arredata con gusto colazione internazionale dí ottima qualità ristorante eccellente personale che ti coccola nei minimi particolari un nome su tutte Rosaria alla reception che ha dimostrato tutta la sua professionalità. Grazie

Mic dejun OK, locatie frumoasa, se vede superb apusul pe mare, de pe terasa sau din restaurant. Are acces gratuit la plaja Vico, cu microbuzul hotelului sau pe jos, maxim 10 minute. Personalul de la receptie, foarte saritori, foarte amabili, zambitori, gata oricand sa te ajute. De asemenea, aceleasi calificative pentru personalul restaurantului.

Le camere erano molto grandi e confortevoli. Bellissimo il terrazzino privato con tavolino e sedie.
Abbiamo sfruttato la disponibilità dell'ombrellone e lettini presso il lido convenzionato a 10 minuti a piedi (in discesa all'andata e salita al ritorno). C'è il parcheggio privato ad un costo aggiuntivo.
Colazione super abbondante e molto varia! Ci tornerei.

July 26 stayed at this hotel. Great choice for location and accommodation. Acces to all the local boat trips, Amalfi and Positano, the hotel staff helped to book the best boat trip to Capri. Train and bus service easy to use and very close to hotel. Vivo Equense small town which is easily walkable into and around lots of bars and restaurants varies from pasta/pizza to delicious Italian cuisine.
The hotel itself is big, clean but a little dated with an eclectic collection of decor. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, particularly reception who were more than happy to answer questions. There is no pool, rather free use of the beach area which is down a rather big hill. The hotel does have a private van/bus service to and from the hotel which is bookable.
Vico equense is the perfect location for the Sorento area. Sorento is easily accesssble by bus or train and is a quite a large town which was very busy. The Amalfi and Positano, both a must see and beautiful areas were extremely busy and crowded as was capri. Pompei again, easily accessible by train, a guided tour is recommended but it was exposed to the sun, little shade and very hot.

Stayed here for 11 nights in July of this year. Absolutely dreadful. We were given a room on the terrace which was basically a step up from a garden shed. The bathroom was disgraceful with outdated fittings, chipped tiles, mould on the shower curtain and the shower in the middle of the bath which flooded. The main door to the room had holes in it. After 3 nights here we could take no more and asked to be moved. The room we were given in the same area was actually worse. It resembled a cave. No wardrobe, storage space or wi-fi. The walls were actually crumbling with plaster falling off. Again we challenged this and were told on booking we had booked an economy room when in fact we had booked a classic room with a balcony. After 5 nights we were eventually given the correct room. There were no apologies forthcoming from the manager. Parts of this Hotel would be condemned in any other country. The breakfast was also poor. Watered down juices and cold scrambled egg. Some of the breads and pastries were also stale. This hotel despite its fabulous location should be avoided at all costs.
