チェンマイの街の中心部からかなり離れているというのが唯一の難点だが、それ以外はかなり優良な宿。
近くには、市場やローカルなフードコートやスーパーマーケットなどもあり、ローカルな雰囲気の中でのんびり過ごしたいという人にはおすすめ。
あと、宿のスタッフも感じが良く、親切であり、程よい距離感で接してくれる。
チェックイン時に、お手製の地図で周辺の店情報や観光情報などを時間をかけて案内してくれると思う。
部屋は毎日ベッドメイクがあり、その際にバスタオルは交換用バスケットに入れておけば新しいものに交換してくれる
また、石鹸やシャンプーなど備品の他、毎日750mlの水ボトルが２本支給される。

ちなみに、宿の一階はカフェスペースになっており、猫カフェほどではないが数匹の猫が飼われていてそれをウリにしている。
宿泊者はカフェ内のパソコンなども利用可能だし、wifiも部屋で使える。
宿には自転車もあり余っていれば無料で貸し出してくれる。ただ、自転車のサドルの高さが工具がないと調整できないので、高さが合わない自転車の利用は避けたほうが無難。
チェンマイ２度目とかで、観光よりものんびり過ごしたいという人にはかなりおすすめの宿。

Banilah is a lovely boutique hotel. The girls are super helpful with their maps and knowledge of the area. Although located out of the city it is most certainly walkable. There are lots of local eating places nearby. We really enjoyed our stay here. The little touches made it even more pleasant

This is a very nice little hotel. Close, but not too close to everything. Staff is extremely helpful.

Fave thing about the guesthouse - The staff, particularly Nancy (not sure if the spelling is right), was very helpful. She was friendly to us, and was very warm to our toddler. She even helped carry him up and down the stairs a couple of time! She gave maps and tips to navigate the area, places of interest, etc.

Least fave thing about the guesthouse - The bathroom was outside of the room, you have to go out to the balcony to access the bathroom. But we were fine with it.

ถ้าชอบความเรียบง่าย ไม่วุ่นวาย ตู้เย็นรวม ห้องน้ำแยกจากตัวห้อง เหมือนอยู่บ้านตัวเอง ก็อยู่ได้สบายๆ

Banilah is my favorite place to stay in Chiang Mai. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are excellent. The location is another big plus, it's in a neighbourhood that's nice and quiet and that has great cafes and restaurants.

You can people next door at times, but really people were very respectful. The location is good with it just minutes from the northwest mote. Lots of coffee and Thai restaurants in the area. Free use if their bikes to take to Maya mall. They have a cat cafe attached to the hotel. But you can sit outdoors if allergic.

Nous avons séjourné au total 10 jours. Chambre simple, un peu petite mais très propre et bien entretenue. Le personnel est attentionné, de bons conseils et les filles sont adorables. Cet etablissement mérite une note d'exellence. De l'eau et des vélos prêtés gracieusement. Nous nous y sommes très bien sentis.

Dans un petit quartier de Chiangmai, très peu de touristes, à 1ou 2 km du centre.
Hôtel très propre, la gérante très gentille, dévouée vraiment adorable.
Là réception est super zen, c'est un coffee cat.
On a adoré !!!

Our highest recommendations to the place itself and deep gratitude to people who work there and hosted our family so very well.
The place is super clean (everyday room clean service), nice and 7 mins on bike to the Old City Centre. Should be mentioned that In the room there is a desk that may be handy in case you work freelance. The neighborhood has everything you may probably need: from delicious bakery two minutes away up to laundry service. The stuff welcomes with a beautiful smile and well prepared maps with all hot spots and super helpful recommendations that believe me you will use on an everyday basis. So far traveling in Thailand for two months we may say confidentially that the hosts are the best and it’s important as you meet the neighborhood for the first time !
Honestly speaking, it felt like home staying over there for 11 days. Very friendly, kind atmosphere which of course due to super hosts.
Keep notes: The Internet connection is high but the signal may drop once you are in the room so be prepared it may jump a bit but overall it’s perfect. The room has everything you may need and super clean , the only thing is that there is no height mirror (but that’s not critical I believe, is it?). And be ready that it can be a bit noisy in the room especially if you rent a first floor one as it is close to the road but I assure you after awhile it doesn’t bother at all.
We are absolutely sure that the place is super great as for a single traveler as for a company.

Zimmer sind in Ordnung, die Klimaanlage funktioniert, das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Z.B. wurde uns eine Taxi App (GRAB) and Herz gelegt, mit welcher wir insgrsamz bestimmt an die 1000 Baht gespart haben. Gepäcklagerung bis zur Weiterreise am Abend war kein Problem. Roller kann man an der Rezeption bestellen und der wird dann von extern gebracht. Alles super

바닐라는 직원들이 매우 친절하고, 주변 편의시설이나 멋진 식당에 대한 유용한 정보를 주어서 감명받았습니다. 숙소는 혼자 쓰기엔 넉넉하고 편안했으나 밤엔 날씨 탓에 객실이 조금 추웠습니다. 위치는 주요 관광지에선 떨어져있지만 로컬사람들이 사는 현지인동네라 맘에들고 주변에 편의시설이 많아 불편함이 없었습니다. 만족해요

連續住了九天，除了隔音稍微不太好以外，其它服務都十分不錯，有每天的房間整理，出入有免費腳踏車可以代步，且附近有很多便宜餐廳可以享用～
