The property is very dated and down - market. Music was blaring from the restaurant. Not a peaceful beach visit. Very uncomfortable walking on the beach due to being continually accosted by pretend-maasai

Le petit Paradis de Paje
Pros:

Un superbe hôtel en bord de mer.
Beau, très bien entretenu, le personnel est absolument adorable. La cuisine est vraiment délicieuse: à souligner! Les petits déjeuners incroyablement bons et copieux (variés).
Possibilité de se faire masser sur la plage.
La literie est très confortable et les chambres spacieuses.
La piscine est chaude; des transats et serviettes de plage sont à disposition.
Un merci tout particulier à Grace, la responsable de la réception, qui s est assuré que nous passions un merveilleux séjour; ses mots pour mon fils resterons à jamais gravé: merci pour cette bienveillance !
Nous recommandons vraiment cet hôtel au super rapport qualité prix, et avec un emplacement parfait sur la place de Paje pour faire du kitesurf (beaucoup d écoles juste à côté), bronzer, faire des boutiques et sortir le soir.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Ndame Paje Hotel with an incredible ocean-front infinity pool,
Pros:

The infinity pool was absolutely amazing — a stunning ocean-front infinity pool with breathtaking views over the sea, perfect for relaxing all day with comfortable sunbeds and a beautiful chill vibe. The location was perfect — peaceful, right on the beach, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The WiFi was by far the best we had in Zanzibar — super fast and reliable everywhere. The staff were friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.

Cons:

Honestly, there was absolutely nothing we didn’t like. Everything exceeded our expectations. We actually expected a traditional buffet breakfast, but the à la carte experience turned out to be awesome — fresh, made-to-order options with great variety and quality every morning. The whole stay felt well-maintained, relaxing, and thoughtfully prepared from start to finish.

nice pool, nice beach, outside of the center
Pros:

I like the place, because its open, wide and has an natural appearance with that small huts, a bit outside of the bustling center of Paje. The pool is big and well kept. All went well, and Simona helped us to get good rooms for everyone in the big group. Even late check out was possible due to low season. We had a good stay and all liked it. Breakfast has creative versions, so even after 4 nights, we were not boared but positive surprised. Pizza was great too.

Cons:

The place and inside garden is very clean, but I think the gardneers, or even security staff, could also collect the plastic trash who comes in with tide, along the natural beach stretch in front of huts Nr. 20 to Nr. 27. Guest would apreciate i think.

Piscina increible
Pros:

La piscina es perfecta, grande, buena temperatura y con sombras de las palmeras.
(Se puede aprovechar bien sin alojarte en el hotel)

Cons:

Algunas habitaciones estan en bloques de 3 y se oye mucho al vecino.
Llegue de un tour muy cansado con ganas de bañarme y me dijeron que no podia cuando habia otra persona en el agua y me molesto mucho.
Ademas que dicen que puedes bañarte a cualquier hora a tu resposabilidad ya que no hay socorrista.

Volvi como cliente no alojado para comer y el datafono no funcionaba, y la cantidad a pagar en ese hotel suele ser muy alta. Me querian llevar hasta el banco para sacar dinero y pagarles lo cual conlleva bastante tiempo y costes extras de sacar efectivo.
No me gusto esa gestion tampoco. Tuve suerte y un amigo tenia mucho efectivo encima.

Great location and pool. Left with slightly uneasy vibe but would stay again.

Great pool overlooking the water. Plenty of seats and towels. Water and room good and good AC and water pressure. Food great.

Cons:

My boys and I witnessed the very big security guard beat up a beach boy. I had to step in. He tried to sell me a jet ski ride which was fine and I said no. He didn’t bother me any more. Then the security guard came down, tried to take his bike and that escalated to punching him. Middle of the day and it wasn’t necessary. The lady from the property next door was also yelling at him to stop. You guys don’t own this beach and there was no need for your security staff to do this. It’s a poor reflection on the hotel, which was a shame as it’s a lovely place.

Pros:

I honestly think its best hotel in paje , its far from the noise of the beach yet close . The managers are always making sure everything is done well and the pool is the nicest in the area. Also food is great and it feels very safe especially at night for solo travelers

The reception can be better , i think its being renovated and maybe more light in the rooms

Perfect voor het gezin. Het is een idyllische plek om heerlijk te verpozen
Pros:

Het was geweldig. Boven verwachting goed. We hebben ons als twee koninginnetjes gevoeld. Mijn dochter werd 5 en zij hebben echt een onvergetelijke vakantie aan ons gegeven. Van zingen bij het ontbijt als liefde geven aan mijn dochter alsof ze bij hun familie hoorde. We werden op onze wenken bediend. Als klap op de vuurpijl hebben ze ook nog ons bed versierd met prachtige bloemen en zwanen ornamenten gemaakt met de handdoeken. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en a la carte. We konden het eigenlijk niet op, waardoor we het fruit steeds meenamen naar het zwembad. We hadden steeds dezelfde bedjes vooraan en voelden ons als royalties. De muziek op de achtergrond, een heerlijk briesje af en toe en prachtig weer. In het laagseizoen nog steeds een goede plek om heen te gaan. Echt idyllisch. Voor de lunch of het diner is de catch of the day een echte aanrader. Het stukje prive strand met het kraakheldere water was heerlijk om na de de vloed heen te gaan. Vanaf het zwembad hadden we een prachtig uitzicht op de kitesurfers en de oceaan die in de ochtend en vroege middag in eb modus lag. Het is een pareltje van een hotel. Het hotel trekt een verschillend pluimage aan van dagtoeristen, hotelgasten en kitesurfers. Persoonlijk houd ik daar erg van. Mijn kind had ook zeer veel mogelijkheden om met leeftijdsgenoten te spelen in het zwembad. Ze heeft volgens mij 6 uur per dag gemiddeld in het zwembad en de zee gespeeld. Er was geen moment dat er geen vermaak was. We zijn met zijn tweetjes heerlijk tot rust gekomen. Mijn dochter zei: mam, ik wil nooit meer naar huis!! :-))

Cons:

Vrij weinig. Het is een prive strand. Mijns inziens de beste plek van het eiland om te verblijven. In de buurt kun je je overigens prima vermaken met de goede restaurants en cafes aan het strand. Als je dingen wilt ondernemen, check van te voren even de afstanden.
