Hougoumont Hotel Fremantle

Staff were friendly and gave great information and advice. Venue was lovely and clean. Well sized rooms Great water pressure and temp control. Lots of eating venues within 1 minute walking.

Yet again, we chose to stay in this hotel, cannot recommend this high enough, if you are going to Fremantle, please do not stay anywhere else.

Great position and handy to all amenities and local attractions. The staff were lovely. The room was very small (no room for luggage) but had everything we needed during our stay.
The complimentary breakfast was a good start to the day.
Having car parking available was excellent as we were coming and going at all different hours.
We would definitely stay there again

We spent two nights at the hotel and had a lovely time, we used the hotel parking also which made the experience very easy as the hotel is so close to everything and easy to walk to.
Marco was fantastic when I called to arrange parking and also on check in. All the staff including domestic were very accommodating.
The room was roomier than expected and the finishings are very nice, great aircon. I would have preferred a firmer pillow but I didn’t ask but I’m sure it would have been rectified
The endless supply of water bottles and coffee was also great. We enjoyed our complimentary wine and cheese in Calamity Rods and also the complimentary breakfast was very filling as included some nice yoghurt and muesli.

We stayed at the Hougoumont Hotel for the ‘Fremantle Tour’ package and from when we checked on Friday afternoon until our late checkout on Saturday, everything went perfectly and we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. The included breakfast was better than we expected and the staff were always friendly and ready to assist. We just wished we had stayed longer!

Great location, nice room size, ours had a massive balcony too which was nice. Staff were great. Would definitely recommend.

We booked here yet stayed over the road in New Haus Hotel rooms lovely, clean & modern with balcony & aircon TV etc , own kitchen for self catering option breakfast a real let down
Orange juice water tea coffee granola pot plain yogurt blue berries is the only option for cereal (nice for me ) not for everyone, no other flavours for yogurts or fruit choices (apples on reception desk) bread & fruit bread available for toasting various Jams.
They offer a free drink in the bar next door for guests daily 5-6pm comes with a small cheese platter

Sky dive over Rottnest, ferry across, high bikes to explore the beautiful bays white sand & cold sea.
Beautiful place, no cars allowed.

Fantastic 6 night stay at Hougoumont Hotel in Fremantle! Lovely room, great location. All staff showed the level of attention to detail that made our stay with them equal parts engaging and straightforward. Very highly recommended!

I just love the Hougoumont, and it is my preferred hotel when I am in Perth. I have stayed multiple times, and it always delivers.

The complimentary happy hour cheese platter at 5pm is one of my favourites. It is a lovely touch, and very appreciated.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hougoumont Hotel! Marco and the staff are amazing, so welcoming and attentive. The hotel is stylish, spotless, and full of charm. My room was beautifully designed and very comfortable.
Loved the complimentary wine and cheese in the evening, and the location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Fremantle, close to everything. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had a brilliant stay at the Hugo! We recently moved from Freo having lived there for 9 years, actually on Nairn St right behind your hotel, so it was nice to experience it from the inside rather than looking at its rear wall. Very impressed with the service, comfort levels, drinks, charcuterie and breakky supplied.

Availed rooms at the new haus section that are at the rear of the building
Noisy air con from the adjacent buildings and no sleep if you leave the windows pony

Such a lovely hotel to stay at — great location, comfortable rooms, and nice breakfast. Thumbs up to Maricar Loyola and the team for the excellent service!

Everything is perfect—our wonderful Freo experience included a super clean, quiet room (smelled fresh, no noise!) and great service (staff went above and beyond). Couldn’t ask for more.
