Sidra International Hotel

Needed to stay in Addis for a day, because we had some issues with a flight delay. The Food and the Service was fantastisch in any way. The Hotel Transfer was easy and very relaxed. The Staff is super friendly and our Room was allready ready in a few minutes. I’d recommend the Sidra Hotel in any way.

Dirty

The room was bright, clean and spacious with extra seating and a balcony. However, the outdoor traditional coffee seating area smelled so strongly of sewer that we could not sit there. The sewer smell came up through the bathroom floor and shower drains into my room at night. The bathroom was very dark and in need of an upgrade. I reported that my sink stopper would not open to allow the water to drain and it took an entire afternoon before someone came to fix it. I was given only one choice for breakfast each day.. an omelet, along with the salad offerings at the buffet. The dining room wait staff was not attentive and I had to wait long periods of time before I got my bill. Finally, the power went out when I was in the elevator and I was trapped with no way to get out.

Best part of the hotel is the food. Kebab options were tasty. Breakfast bar good. Room and bath showed signs of wear and were somewhat dark Friendly helpful service.

After eight years away from my home country, I spent more than three weeks at Sidra hotel on a family vacation. The staff is fantastic and very welcoming. The free breakfast is fantastic, with Ethiopian options and meals for foreigners available, as well as a professional and friendly chef who always ensures his guests are enjoying his food and checks to see if anything is missing. I enjoyed my entire stay there and am already missing the morning steam and sauna with free foot massages from professional girls. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is repairing the shower equipment because it floods the bath room when taking a shower, and the gym equipment at the treadmill is getting old.

This hotel was everything we needed with a welcome level of good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and I had numerous meetings with people here and in the coffee shop. The room was also great, except several items were not working in the room. In spite of that, we got very good value and will definitely come back here again. The staff offer excellent service.

Sidra Hotel is a great facility, a short distance from Bole Airport with free shuttle to and fro for their guests. Rooms are large and clean with terrace, The staff is always available and very helpful. good breakfast and dinner with room service, wifi available. SPA area is also very nice with free leg massage early in the morning.

The toilet leaked water the whole time all over the floor.feom.the bottom. They tried siliconing it rather than fixing it. They have no generator and Addis Ababa was having frequent power outages. The room was full.of.mosquitoes and at night i needed my cell to light myself to get to the bathroom. It went dead by morning as I was unable to charge it.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Turnpike Lodge. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. I would like express my gratitude to Jemes Night Manager, Rediet and Selam Abe. Amazing people and very professional. I would recommend anyone travelling to Addis Ababa to stay at Sidra International Hotel. Keep up the good work. Many thanks to the Manager and the Team. Will sure come and stay there in my next visit. Take care

Sidra Hotel is a great facility, it is in a good location near the airport area. Rooms are large and clean with terrace, staff is always available and very helpful. There is free airport shuttle, good breakfast and dinner service, functioning shower and wifi available. SPA area is also very nice.

I stay the whole two weeks in this outstanding hotel when I was in Addis Ababa. The room was clean with comfortable bed. But most of all the service was nothing but 5 star all the stuff members are amazing. I want to mention this three stuff members Bini, Tison and Rahel thank you so much.

Amazing stay at the hotel. The service was excellent. The rooms was always clean. The staff at the hotel was always happy and tried to help us with everything we asked for.
The food at the hotel was really good. We also got suprised that the hotel had a spa. The spa was good and could be used for free in the morning.

I enjoyed every day in this hotel, the hospitality is amazing, you feel like you live with your best friends.
In terms of the hotel itself, its neat and clean 24/7, rooms are great, resturant is amazing, and the outside coffee shed is the best way to start your day.

A beautiful, wonderful, very luxurious and quiet hotel with a very nice staff and the most wonderful treatment from the staff and hotel management. I highly recommend it. I liked and tried this experience again, I spent three wonderful months there

Wonderful and helpful staff. Great variety of food at breakfast. Loved the papaya and melon juices served for breakfast.

Just needs a little consistency on maintenance on things like lights, deep cleaning of floor rags and chairs in the rooms. Some bedsheets are torn need replacing.

Otherwise great place if you’re looking for affordable accommodation with airport tranfers.

It have a family environment, I had a great stay which was like for 2 weeks their breakfast was amazing the people who work their are very friendly, the hotel is very clean I really enjoyed my visit their and I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel

I went to use spa service there. Though two men were leaving as I enter, I was the only one in the spa for more than 1 hour. The place looks good. But no one is available out there to help. I called the person at reception and she replied she is coming, she never did. That is strange. The toilet in the spa is also not good. Needs improvement on customer handling

I stayed sometimes in this hotel and i have had à Good feeling. All was really fine.
Night manager is very available and good man.
Much appreciate the services.
