This hotel was chosen as it is located at short distance from the MRU international airport. At the time of booking I indicated that we would be checking in between 16.00 and 17.00 (check-in time from 15.00). I booked a room with twin beds. Upon arrival, the room was not ready. We had to wait for more than an hour, and finally got a room without twin beds. Also, only 0ne bath-towel was found in the room. It has been the worst experience i have had with IHG for the many years that I have been staying in IHG properties. And the price paid for the room (Euro 195), and the service received was definitely not worth it. The IHG of this property apparently means 1 Hour of Grief.

We stayed there on night of15th Oct as well, on that night we checked in for both dates and paid tourist levy for both dates. returning on the 19th, the staff on duty knew nothing of that and instead with a bad attitude that we check in and pay levy again. they delayed the check in with 30 minutes, eventually I dug up the receipt of paid levy, another staff member apologised but the one initially "helped" us remained his bad attitude. the restaurant waiters not very professional, one thing that is very anoing is take the menu away before you have made up your mind on what to order. I will not easily stay there again.
Bon accueil et politesse du personnel. Belle et grande chambre, petit déjeuner très complet sous forme de buffet. Bonne insonorisation car on n'entend pas les avions qui passent pourtant tout près. Proximité de l'aéroport et navette gratuite.
Accès à la chambre après 2h d'attente alors que je suis arrivée à 17h (le check-in commence pourtant à 15h), donc impossibilité de profiter des infrastructures de l'hôtel et des alentours. Serviette de bain et tapis de douche humides. Prise presque arrachée. Grandes traces de calcaire sur le verre de la cabine de douche, joint du lavabo très abîmé et traces de doigts sur la porte. En demi-pension, dîner avec montant limité.
Airport to hotel shuttle was spot-on time and quick. Had to load and wheel own luggage into lobby. Check-in was painless. Drinks, as in any Mauritian hotel, were expensive but well served. Bar area restaurant is quite bland but functional. Two bell boys helped with luggage to room. Room, as expected, nice, spacious functional with two large bottles of chilled water and amenities as expected. Everything worked and complementary instant coffee was quite good. Breakfast coffee was good.
Luggage service was on time and check-out was quick.
Have charging docks/power outlets on both sides of bed. AC extremely noisy. Breakfast was "OK" but I will not again pay the price charged for it.

Trotz Nähe zum Flughafen war es recht ruhig
Boden des Zimmers war nicht sauber; vermutlich wurde das vergessen - denn das passte nicht zum übrigen Eindruck dieses Hauses

Accueille vraiment pas bon On nous envoie un mail pour nous dire que le in et out c'est 15h/11h, on previens que nous arriverons vers 17h30 et nous avons attendu 45 inutes pour obtenir notre chambre
A l'arrivée de l'hotel en taxi personne vient chercher nos bagages
Quant au repas c'etait un buffet pas très riche mais e très bon gateaux
la plus c'est la navette de l'aéroport à l'hotel
