Quirky, cool hotel
Pros:

Quirky art hotel with amazing staff and super interesting rooms. Locked area for cars to park. Restaurant was great. Breakfast choices were great.

Cons:

The area to drive through and around the hotel did not feel safe. There was almost hourly plane traffic and impossible for one of us to sleep. Really difficult to find hotel because it’s down a single side street.

Habitaciones terribles, cero privacidad, incómodas, mal iluminadas, sin aire acondicionado, ni calefacción, ni televisor, y además carísimo, precio cinco estrellas por media estrella de comodidad.
El hotel está en un barrio donde da miedo salir del hotel

Pros:

it's secluded and if you're looking to get out of the city, this is definitely the place. also, the restaurant is fantastic and Carmen, the chef is so delightful and friendly and lovely and an incredible chef!

Cons:

Well, I think all of the other reviews made my expectations far too high because I didn't really experience most of the things they noted. The lodge was definitely not a chain hotel or Airbnb, which was very refreshing and why I booked it, but I didn't realize how small the quarters would be and how the music and the voices would carry all throughout the compound. To back up, I checked-in and no one really introduced themseves to me. (Again, this is completely fine, it's just that based on other reviews I thought it I was going to be warmly greeted by the whole fam- when in fact only the owner's mother was around, and she was lovely and nice.
And then I guess the owners arrived later that day, and they didn't really introduce themselves to me either when I was sitting there (hence why I did not know they were the owners) but I left for my room shortly thereafter, and they did text me immediately when I asked if I could change to a room that's more quiet. Federico was attentive and moved me to a farther room away from the kitchen ( fyi- the music played until 11pm. (N.B. The moment I walked into the first very small room a couple doors down from the kitchen, I could hear every single pin drop in the kitchen and dining room, so I immediately and very politely asked how late the music would be playing. The owner's mother was very sweet and just asked me what time I wanted to go to sleep. I didn't know how to communicate that I didn't want to hear it AT ALL, not just when I go to sleep so I kind of just blew it off and she turned it down for a spell until maybe an hour or so ). Later it was turned up to the previous volume, which I could still heai very clearly and loudly from the new room. I know many people may like pop music, so I guess I understand if that was the crowd they are trying to attract, but it was actually my worst nightmare to have to be subjected to pop music all morning and day and evening.

Wow ein magischer Ort inmitten des Trubels von Bogota! Diese Stadt muss man sehen absolutes Chaos und doch eine Ordnung. Das Hotel und Restaurant sind sehr schön, vor allem das Essen ist wirklich wahnsinnig gut! Tolles und sehr nettes Personal, kein Wunsch bleibt offen!
