A beautiful luxurious property in fantastic location
Pros:

Stunning property with a small rooftop pool right in the heart of the old town so close to everything. The communal lounge and dining room are open to use and lovely. There’s a fridge and kettle in the room. Bed super comfy and nice linen with huge towels and a great shower. The staff were sweet and polite and gave us good advice on going to the Rosario Islands. There are free bikes to use.

Cons:

Our room (401) was in the basement so whilst super quiet it lacked any sort of view and didn’t have much natural light.

Not a great room
Pros:

Casa del Coliseo has a wonderful location in the Cartagena walled city.

Service was excellent, particularly from the reception staff who were super helpful and friendly. The turndown service was an unexpected bonus.

Sadly, our room (103) felt like the worst of the “superior with views” category – it was small and the view was extremely limited. It was also right under the breakfast area and kitchen, so every morning we were woken up at 6am by staff preparing breakfast.

The bathroom would flood every time we showered, as the drain couldn’t cope with the water flowing through.

Tout ! La beauté et la propreté du lieu.
La piscine, les petits déjeuners et pina colada excellents ! Personnel très agréable surtout Martin qui nous a très bien accueillis.

A beautiful calm and quiet oasis within the busy old town

Lovely boutique hotel in a beautifully restored building.Our room was spacious ,comfortable and quiet.
Excellent freshly prepared breakfast with a wide choice.
Staff were welcoming and helpful.
Great location in the old town.

Cons:

It was expensive but perhaps that’s because Cartagena accommodation in the old town is.Despite the cost we would stay there again.

Excelente opção para quem deseja ficar no centro de Cartagena

Compensa fazer upgrade de apartamento porque os quartos Premium ficam afastados do barulho das ruas.

Loved the old world charm, location and service.
Pros:

The location was excellent, in the historic walled city.
The building itself was beautiful externally, internally and communal ereas were decorated with style.
The staff were lovely, friendly when providing assistance.

Cons:

The bathroom has no extractor fan and no vent to external fresh air.
The pillows were not comfy
It should be noted the balcony is only a Juliette balcony, cannot be sat out on
