Very disappointed. Rude staff. Not impressed.
Pros:

The hotel was clean. The staff was not friendly. The beds were not comfortable. The sign said ice machine on the 3rd and 4th floor so we went to the 3rd floor didn't work, then we went to the 4th floor didn't work! So we had to go back to the 1st floor and said the ice machines aren't working. The girl at the desk said yes I know. I said well do you have ice. She said yes and took my bucket and got me ice. We were the only ones checking in so they weren't busy. They should have given us this information OR change the sign! The hotel also advertised that they had a place to get food and bar. The girls at the desk said, "Ummm we only have wings." And not really a bar. The staff was rude. There was no hello to welcome us, no talking at all except "I need a card for incidentals. They were sitting when we came and slowly came to help check us in. Then when I came down to ask for ice, they were both sitting outside and SLOWLy made their way to the desk to help. There are too many hotels in the area to be treated this way! I would pick somewhere else!

Wrost Hyatt Ever
Pros:

Wrost Hyatt I ever stayed at. TV wasn't working in my room and when the staff did fix the television it only had five channels. Breakfast was basic. Bar didn't have a good selection of alcohol. Front desk staff wasn't friendly. Definitely won't be staying there again when I am in Columbus Mississippi.

The location is great. Everything is right on the area. It’s nestled off in a little nook by itself.

Cons:

The parking is a little walk from the front entrance and you drive around and come in through the back door.

Great staff, good room and bed, but extra charges for things that are usually included
Pros:

Staff was amazing! Let us check in early, friendly and helpful the entire stay. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Cons:

The parking costs for a 3-star hotel and having to use the room key to get in and out of the parking lot was horrible. We didn’t buy the $18 breakfast and when I saw that it was just a normal hotel breakfast that would be included free elsewhere, I was glad.

Disappointed for the money and the Hyatt experience
Pros:

Location and pool

Cons:

Booked a King suite and got out in a Queen room. After taking off shoes in the room carpet was soaking wet from middle of the room to the AC unit. Waited in a 30 minute line of other people having an issue with their rooms. Was moved to a king room with a view of several blue barrels and cigarettes on top with staff taking breaks. Shower head was dirty and had no pressure. Bathroom door had trim pieces hanging off. Not what I would expect from a Hyatt at all.
