Nice place to stay.
Pros:

The Inn is a great place to stay. Unfortunately the pool and restaurant were not open during my stay. A little noisy during the day due to construction going on at the Inn. You did accommodate us with changing rooms which was
Nice. The beach was beautiful and clean.

Cons:

You could offer a light breakfast for a small charge.

Quick Trip
Pros:

We needed a place to stay after a Derby party in RI, and the Pleasant View is our go to place. Reservations were made through Susan at the front desk. Check in was quick with Krista assisting us. The room was refreshed with a new floor and area rug under the bed. After returning from a Derby party, my husband wanted to watch the basketball game in the lobby, and Cathy was very pleasant and changed the channel for us. This was another great quick stay for us at the Pleasant View Inn.

An enjoyable beach getaway
Pros:

During our 5 night stay we had dinner twice in The Hatch. On both occasions our server was Elanah, a very young, professional, efficient and accommodating waitress, who was also very knowledgeable and personable. Thoroughly enjoyed our interactions. She is an asset to the restaurant.

Our room, #238, was attended to by Denise. She was very patient and accommodating while waiting for us to vacate our room on a very rainy day. When we returned, our room was immaculate with clean bedding and ample towels for the remainder of our stay.

I would also like to acknowledge Chad and all the other staff who were very helpful and friendly during our stay. All were willing to help in any way needed. You could tell they enjoyed being of service to the guests.

While our room was small it was very comfortable and had all we needed for our quick ocean getaway. Would not hesitate staying here in the future. It was also easy to go between Watch Hill and Westerly.

Comfortable and Convenient
Pros:

Fantastic location. The staff was very helpful. Even though we were there offseason, and the restaurant wasn't open yet, they were kind enough to give a list of where we could eat along with some of their recommendations.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like. Will be planning another trip soon.

Overall stay this time was much better.

Pleasantly nice
Pros:

I rented a room for 1 night we really enjoyed the views Beautiful beach. Too bad it was a gloomy cold day. Room was ok. Staff was very nice and easy to work with.

Cons:

Downside, too noisy. The walls are too thin there was a couple next door fighting all night. We actually left in the middle of the night we let staff know. Its Unfortunate.

Worst room ever and been her many times😂
Pros:

View is great if you get a ocean view . The room we got I have closet larger we paid full price no discount .no restaurant,no pool. And no elevators or help with bags wouldn't mind but room was tiny. The AC in the room over us made the whole room vibrate. Not even sure if this electrical set up is up to code .see pictures . So do go in April and don't believe the pictures.

location, location, location
Pros:

The location is what made me make a reservation because we wanted to be right on the beach. We also liked the fact that we had a small balcony that faced the ocean. It was nice having a restaurant right on site to have lunch or dinner. Parking spots were always available.

Cons:

The inn could use some upgrading especially in the painting department (doors were peeling) and carpeting. Also, the air conditioners in the rooms are really old.

Beautiful site overlooking the sea, and nice room and balcony, but glad to hear that the old dirty carpet is being replaced. The staff was great. We had delicious dinners at their Hatch restaurant, and Ashley our waitress was wonderful!

Great location, but doesn’t fully make up for the mediocre rooms and cleanliness for the money.

I’ve been staying at PVI for many years now and with the substantial increase to the rates, it’s not acceptable to have the rooms in the condition that they are - musty, not that clean - housekeeping doesn’t even come daily unless you ask which is a bit of a scam considering there’s a daily fee for cleaning.
