Fijn verblijf in veilige, hippe buurt.
Pros:

Usuaquen is een leuke, veilige buurt met een mooi plein, pittoreske straatjes en lekkere restaurants. Het duurt een tijdje om met de taxi naar het centrum te rijden, maar liever dat dan in La Candelaria te verblijven. De prijzen zijn trouwens zeer redelijk, varierend van 20 000 - 45 000 COP afhankelijk van de drukte. De luchthaven is vlot bereikbaar. Het hotel zelf is goed bemand met een hartelijke welkom, heel uitgebreid ontbijt met optie tot groenten en fruit. Onze kamer was ruim en van alles voorzien. Werd bovendien dagelijks schoongemaakt. De receptie is behulpzaam en hele dag door is er geinfuseerd water of vruchtensap beschikbaar. De kamer is aangenaam qua temperatuur en heeft rolluiken voor volledige verduistering. We sliepen met een raam open en dat was perfect. De matras was zeer groot en sliep aangenaam.

Cons:

Niets ernstigs, maar de jacuzzi op het dakterras had koud water en nadat we dit aan de receptie melden, zeiden ze dat het "in onderhoud" was. Het leek me echter al lang zo te zijn en er werd in de vier nachten dat we er bleven ook niets aan gedaan. Onze douchedeur sloot niet helemaal, maar gelukkig lekte er geen water.

All was perfect
Pros:

We had an absolutely outstanding stay at Biohotel Organic Suites in Bogotá.

Before even talking about the hotel itself, I have to mention something that perfectly reflects the incredible level of service. When we arrived, I realized I had accidentally left my phone in the taxi. The reception team immediately stepped in. They checked the security cameras to identify the taxi’s license plate, contacted the police, and at the same time reached out to the taxi company. Thanks to the license plate, they were able to find the driver, contact him, and in less than an hour my phone was safely returned to me. This went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect, and I will always be grateful for their kindness, efficiency, and genuine willingness to help.

The hotel itself is beautiful: elegant, spotless, and exceptionally well maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Every detail made us feel welcomed and relaxed.

The food was another highlight. Both the breakfast and the restaurant meals were delicious, with excellent quality and plenty of choice.

The gym is also one of the best hotel gyms I’ve seen—modern, spacious, and very well equipped, making it easy to keep up with workouts while traveling.

What truly makes this hotel special, though, is the staff. Every single person we met was incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. During our stay, Colombia was playing an important football match, and they even invited us to join some of the staff in a private room with a big screen to watch the game together. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel less like guests and more like family.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. If we ever return to Bogotá, there is absolutely no doubt that we will stay here again. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at Biohotel Organic Suites. The staff was exceptional from the moment I arrived. The reception team was always friendly and helpful, the housekeeping staff kept my room spotless every day, and the breakfast restaurant staff were amazing and made every morning a great experience. I truly felt welcomed throughout my stay.

Cons:

Honestly, I didn’t have any major issues during my stay. If I had to mention something, it would only be that I wish I could have stayed longer. Everything else exceeded my expectations.

Pros:

The place is great, very comfortable and clean. Beds are nice and the room and bathroom are spacious. Breakfast is unbeatable, superb. The staff are very polite and cheerful.

Cons:

Given the sustainable design, it’s all one big air recirculating system and rooms don’t have AC. For me, room was too warm.
