Small guest house but good location
Pros:

It’s a small guest house by the small alley of which it’s not easy to find. The staff was very friendly. When we reach there the lift spoilt and the girl staff kept apologizing even offered to carry our 28” luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor. The place is very near the night market just a street at the back of the guest house.

All thing is good except get bite by flea

The location of the hotel is convenience . Near to night market . The staff is good and the environment of the hotel is nice.
Just that I get flea bite for 2days staying here . :(

A decent minsu near a famous night market
Pros:

The apartment is very near to Fengjia night market. However, finding the apartment can be quite a challenge if you have problem navigating the many streets and lanes in Taiwan. Luckily the host dropped me a message with detailed directions to their accommodation.

Room is less spacious but comfortable. Somehow on the first night I got bitten by a bed bug which affected my rest of the trip in Taiwan. Do check the bed before going to sleep.

Pros:

The place did not have signage at the front..it's just an apartment building and no lobby. The staff was nice. The room smelled like smoke. Basic amenities but no housekeeping was done. I would not stay again and it was located within an alleyway..probably not suitable for female travellers.

Short walk to night market
Pros:

Had problem finding the hotel from the bus stop. Confusing streets and alleys. Map provided is not useful.
With instruction from the hotel staff, still have problem finding the bus stop that can travel back to taichung train station. Had to take a cab in the end
