Hotel Relax

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the lobby on the 11th floor offered a lovely view along with complimentary water, coffee, and tea.

After checking out, my parents were able to rest in the lobby for two hours, which was a great convenience. Highly recommend for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent service.

The check-in process was easy and the room was clean. The hallway smelled old but the room was in excellent condition. The hotel was located close to major MRT stops and takes less than 15 min of walking. I would love to stay here again.

Convenient location

Great location, lots of option for food and friendly staff!

Property not as advertised. First this is not really a hotel but an inn. It occupies two floors in a Commercial building with two or three other “inns,” a medical clinic, and a Japan tourism company. Had I known this property was an inn, I would have never booked. I will say the highlight and saving grace for this accommodation is the location. It’s very convenient and less than half a block away from the Main Taipei Station. Plenty of restaurants and shopping steps away. McDonald’s is on the first floor of the adjacent building.

Now to discuss the room. There were obvious foundation issues as there were several long cracks on the ceilings. The bathroom had mold and in bad shape. Water would leak when showering even with the door closed. There is also a large step about 10 inches high to enter the bathroom. Definitely a trip hazard.

The room amenities were very minimal. No lotion, hair conditioner, and only a small above the fridge to hang your clothes. We ran out of toilet paper every other day and had to request more from the front desk. I also didn’t have enough towels and when I asked for two more body towels, the staff made a big deal about providing additional towels and wrote down the extra they gave me. Seems inventory is a very big deal to them. No iron in the room and had to borrow from front desk and was told there is only one steamer for the entire hotel so I needed to return in a few hours.

If you’re from the States, this place is equivalent to Motel 6.

The wi-fi was very poor.

Very friendly welcome, great location for the Main train station. Easy walk to a variety of shops and restaurants.

They wanted us to return a pen that we didn’t even borrow because we always carry
our own ball pens, when we tried to check out.

At any rate, we donated our extra ball pen.

The location is close to everything - food, shopping, public transportation, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and spacious. Although it's in the middle of the city, the room is quiet. Overall, very good experience.

Hardly to use the Wi-Fi it’s so slow

Located right above McDonalds, which makes it convenient for kids who just wants a burger

It is right besides the main train station and subway, convenient to get to the airport, and all surrounding shops.

Excellent service plus all the great features mentioned.
