Personalen
Vårt rum hade inga fönster!
Very good place and very nice persons
For a junior suite it wasn’t that clean
Excellent Location. Near De Hallen Food hall & Movies. In quite trendy suburban area, but 10mins walk into busy central Amsterdam (which we really liked). Quite hotel with great bar and stylish interior design. Room very clean, quiet and spacious. Friendly and quick check-in (many thanks). Highly recommended.
Nothing to note
Location, room size
AC was broken
Super chambre confortable et propre. Petit déjeuner au top.
The location
Rooms were too hot spoke with staff but the problem was not resolved during our stay.
Indoor and confort rooms do not have outdoor any windows. Cradle duvets unavailable. Clean and well located.
The location is good, the concept of the hotel is interesting. I found the internal design to be very pleasant, and the concept for internal tables for work was nice, although I did not use it. It's not in the center but is still well connected and with plenty of Cafes and restaurants around. Breakfast is ok - gets the job done.
We booked in advance a room with "view" and 2 separate beds for 3 nights in the beginning of March but when we got there we found out that the room is with a double bed and no windows. The staff said the room fits our level of booking and the extra information is jus booking.com and not them, which is a shame... we wanted to switch to a room like we ordered but the hotel was fully booked, and they said also that MOST ROOMS DONT HAVE WINDOWS, AND THOSE THAT DO - THE WINDOWS DONT OPEN. On top of that, we found out at night that our AC isn't working properly (in booking.com it said AC, not just ventilation - the staff said they cannot have real AC's because its a building for preservation), meaning the room reached beyond 26 degrees Celsius during night while the temperature outside was 3 degrees. The staff tried to fix it but it did not help. with no possibility to open any windows, we eventually were unable to sleep. As we were there for work we simply did what we had to do in Amsterdam as quickly as possible (although dead tired after 2 sleepless nights) and cut our visit short and left the hotel one day earlier, buying ourselves extra expensive train tickets just to get out of the situation and go back home to sleep.
Additionally, the Hotel's front door is closed constantly, and we had to wait for reception to open it for us every time we were out - in wind and rain not such a pleasant experience.
This was part of a travel package deal, and although outside of the town centre, it was convenient and easy to get to the places we needed to.
Amazing location and quirky interior design.
Overall, the hotel simply feels old and needs renovation. Everything both in the communal areas and in the room felt and looked like it had been there for years without getting properly maintained or replaced. More specifically, there were various items in the room that did not work (two key lights) or weren’t there (the shampoo bottle was completely empty which of course I only realised while already in the shower…:/). I asked for the lights to be fixed at the reception and was told it was going to get done but, upon our return to the room 10 hours later, there were the same problems. We just left it as we were only three for two nights. The lady at the reception also got quite defensive even though we fed back on these issues politely. To sum up, definitely a few areas to look into I’d say.
Good cheap stay out of season. Great location
Little messie but for Amsterdam still Ok
