The Grandezza Palace in Brno offers beautifully restored rooms and excellent service.
Pros:

I’ve rarely seen such dedicated and friendly service staff. From the welcome drink to the reception and the dinner at the restaurant – everything was of a very high standard

Cons:

I really have to look hard before I find anything negative. The hotel has been beautifully restored. Whether I personally like the Greek mythology theme in the restaurant is another question. And for a 5-star hotel, the breakfast is a bit “underwhelming” (no fish, few types of bread, somewhat “stressed” service). But all in all, I will exclusively stay at this hotel in Brno in the future.

Cons:

Jediné k čemu bychom měli menší výtku jsou na nás až příliš měkké matrace, ale to je asi o tom na co je člověk zvykli.

S pobytem jsme byli moc spokojení a pokud se do Brna vrátíme určitě využijeme toto ubytování.
Pros:

Snídaně byla naprosto skvělá. Složité bylo najít hotel, navigace dost dobře nefungovala nicméně personál recepce nám výborně poradil.

Cons:

V pokoji jsem čekala i vanu, jinak bylo vše TOP.

Perfekte Lage, Mängel und vermutlicher Diebstahl.
Pros:

Die Lage ist gut, die Zimmer nur dann, wenn sie nicht vom Abluftschacht des Fischrestaurants im Erdgeschoss belüftet werden.

Cons:

Wir mussten auf Zimmertausch bestehen, weil der Gestank im Badezimmer, der vom Abluftschacht des Restaurants im Erdgeschoss kommt, unerträglich war. Eine Tatsache, die dem Hotel anscheinend bekannt ist. Sehr unangenehm ist das Abhandekommen unserer Lautsprecherbox, wir müssen leider von Diebstahl ausgehen. Das Hotel sicherte Aufklärung zu, nichts passierte. Insgesamt ist die "Grandezza" eher eine Behauptung als Widerspiegelung von exzellenter Leistung.

Central location, casual luxury, and great service.
Pros:

I loved the beautiful design of the building and of room, which was very thoughtfully restored. the design and decor really respects the old, dignified building which was originally built as a bank. There is a atmosphere of easy luxury in the whole building and in the rooms. The location could not have been better and despite of its central position, it was quiet at night. The view from our third floor room was magnificent. And the price of the room was really affordable, probably discounted because it was February. The staff were incredibly friendly, from the porter to the check-in clerk to the cleaning staff – all first rate!

Cons:

Honestly, the tea cups in the room could've been larger. I know, that's a tiny thing to complain about! Also, the room got a bit hot, and there was really no way to adjust the thermostat, at least in our room. We opened the window to cool it down.
