The location was excellent.

Cons:

It was in need of some TLC.
We got the last lodge available which unfortunately was overlooking a car park with the maintenance yard/workshop next door. There were no cushions on the outdoor furniture on the balcony. The pool was closed when we arrived early evening. We were told it was because it was windy even though we were in the midst of a heatwave.

Would stay there again.
Pros:

Location was excellent. Hotel was on the river edge and we could walk everywhere. Room was like a log cabin with own outside terrace with seating. Clean and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable. Parking was on-site no extra charge. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

No restaurant but plenty within walking distance.

Leuke locatie met speelse omgeving
Pros:

Leuke locatie in Cognac. Goede tussenstop op weg naar Spanje. Ontbijt was goed. Restaurants zijn binnen loopafstand.
Als we tijd hadden gehad hadden we Cognac graag wat beter willen bekijken

Pros:

Très bon hôtel très bien situé, avec parking, au bord de la Charente. Suite climatisée, très confortable sauf pour l'eau chaude de la douche, mitigeur très difficile à régler.
Petit déjeuner très copieux et varié.
Je recommande.
