Hotel Oceanis Kavala

Not bad! We have room without balcony, it was clean, the room without natural light, relative small, but elegant!
Bathroom big and very clean, a lot of natural light … not like in the room :) …
Air conditioning worked very well, good breakfast bufet ….

I had a fabulous stay at the Oceanis. Fantastic location in the middle of Kavala - a thriving and beautiful little town. Very high quality hotel for an affordable price - with rooms recently renovated. Great rooftop pool and a lovely breakfast with a wide selection of options. Staff all super friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back soon!

Well located and well maintained old hotel. It is close to everything in Kavala. You could walk to beach, major square, restaurants, shops and to the famous Monument Apostle Paul Arrival Church. Nice balcony with nice views. Lot of traffic around the hotel building, but it is very walkable hotel. Will revisit next time.

The location is so good,you are near the beach. The cleanless was good,the rooms were clean. The bed was comfy and the food was good. The staff were friendly. It could be better if they offered more food. I am from North Macedonia the ride was good and when you are going to arrive in the hotel they are going to guest you and help you anything what you need!

Very helpful and kind staff. Very, very clean. Large comfortable room. Large nice balcony with open view. Very close to the port and center of Kavala. Large clean comfortable bathroom. Very good strong shower. Lots of large very soft white towels. Breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. Coffee wasn't nice.

Oceanis hotel is in the centre of the city with easy access to restaurants, bars, pharmacies and local supermarkets. The hotel is near the port of Kavala and the seaside park/playground is only a few minutes' walk away.

The rooms are spacious and newly refurbished. The seafront rooms offer stunning views to the castle and the picturesque area of the port.

The hotel has a roof garden with a decent size pool with an amazing 360 bird eye view of Kavala city.

In general, when I choose Greece as a vacation destination, I make sure to stay one night in Kavala for everything can this city offer, especially the promenade area around the port. Cafes, taverns, alleys, magazines, etc. The Oceanis Hotel was the choice this time... and it was a maximum choice I could say. Here's why...

The hotel is centrally located, easy to reach. If I'm not mistaken, it's right on the main boulevard in the immediate vicinity of the port and the shops.

It is not a wow hotel, but it has enough to be proud of. Here I mention the large rooms, the generous balcony, strong wifi, underground parking and last but not least the swimming pool on the top floor.

If you book here, remember some details. Try to be at the hotel by 12 AM to get a parking space. The places are still limited, but there is another parking lot very close to the hotel for a fee.

Also try to book on a floor higher than level 4, because you will have a much wider view of the city/port. Also, the room must have a sea view, otherwise you will find yourself in a room without a balcony without any view...

The hotel only offers breakfast, which is a bit poor, but in no case do you leave the table hungry. Probably being mostly a transit hotel, they don't go out of their way to "fat" us with breakfast either. I repeat, it is not diverse or rich but it works. The hotel compensates in other aspects and of course in the quality/price ratio.

As I mentioned, the hotel is about 150... 200 meters from the sea. Nearby you can find absolutely everything you need, shops, taverns, restaurants, a small amusement park for children and even a gas station.

The entertainment is directly connected with the surroundings of the hotel. Yes, I would still mention the swimming pool on the top floor, clean, quite large, with many sunbeds and umbrellas... I say very useful during the summer for an afternoon fun after a relatively long drive.

I've just returned from 3 days trip to Kavala. We stayed in this hotel and we are very satisfied with service and everything. The hotel has great location. That's what i noticed as soon as we arrived. It takes you 5-15 min. to get to some nice and popular places, weather you want to get to the sea or maybe to sit in park in front of beautiful municialipty building (ex castle),or to visit beautiful church of Saint Nicola, many charming cafes and restaurants, or if you want to enjoy the view on Kavala from the old town. You have that feeling that everything is nearby. Rooms are ok, clean and you have as much space as you need. Beds are wide and comfortable. Rooms are cleaned everyday and you get new towels,shampoos and stuff daily. Breakfast is very delicious and various. You can pick between greek pastries, classic scrumbled eggs, fried bacon, salami, different salads, different tyoes of olives, greek cheese, sweets...The building has 2 lifts/elevators which worked well at the time we were there. Wifi is available and worked perfect.
Young man and a girl at recepcion were very kind and helpfull. They borrowed us an iron and gave us neccessary information. We had a nice conversation as well.

Hotellet er af ældre dato og bærer præg heraf. Servicen var fin, men kunne ikke opveje indtrykket af stedet ikke er helt oppe på beatet !
Havde så været dum at bestille et værelse med havudsigt, som i øvrigt var fin. Det var den kolossale støj fra hovedgaden derimod ikke ! Fik ikke lukket et øje.

Έμεινα για μία βραδιά. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι σε πολυ καλή τοποθεσία σε κεντρικο σημείο. Καθαρό και άνετο δωμάτιο, άριστη εξυπηρετηση και καλό πρωινό!

Şehir merkezine yakın olması çok avantajlı.
Motosiklet ile gittigimizden dolayı kapalı Otopark olmasi çok iyi oldu.Sabah kahvaltı çok çok iyi sayılmaz ama yenilmeyecek gibi değildi.

Lokasyon mükemmel. Fark vererek deniz manzaralı oda aldık fakat gürültüden uyumak mümkün olmadı. Ön odaların caddeye bakıyor olması gürültüye sebep vermekte.

la struttura è datata ma ben tenuta, garage privato fino al riempimento totale, posizione centralissima, ottima ed abbondante colazione, unica pecca, (non imputabile alla struttura) i greci sono rumorosi sia con le macchine che con le moto, quindi di notte c’è un casino in strada, saluti.

As you can see in the pictures, that's a bathroom from a superior seaview room. A409 to be precise. Mold all over. Could be all easy clean with some bleach...but I guess no one cares. I refuse to imagine how looks a bathroom from a normal room.
Then I found hair all over. Not mine, of course.
Plus the noise, the hotel is on top of a busy street so...cars and busses all night.
My luck was that I stayed just 1 night!
Not recommended! Unless you want to get sick!

Όλα πολύ καλά. Καθαριότητα, άνετο δωμάτιο, Φανταστικό πρωϊνό, εξαιρετικό προσωπικό. Πάρα πολύ καλή τοποθεσία.
