The decoration and the atmosphere are very nice. And the location is perfect. The rooms are spacious but can lack natural light if windows only open on the patio. Breakfast is delicious and offers a good choice of sweet and savory options. The rooftop space is beautiful and offers gorgeous views.
The place is historical (which is an asset) but it shouldn’t seem like old or neglected especially as it is a bit pricey. For example, the paper toilet holder in the first floor restroom is rusted ( there was no soap and no paper toilet neither) and the cabinet wooden doors in our bathroom showed moisture spots. It would require some cleaning or painting.

Un havre de paix en plein centre historique. Très bien situé. Une très belle terrasse.
Rien à dire. Il manque peut-être un ou l'autre transat à la piscine.

Truly beautiful guesthouse and rooms, decor is beautiful and calm oasis compared to other Lou’s hotels in the city but still very well located
A rooftop pool with only one sun lounger was very disappointing, all of them were broken and damaged - they need to replace this as nowhere to enjoy the sunshine and relax after walking around the city. For the price I paid, I was surprised at the service . Quite unhelpful and rude, the first two I met felt like they didn’t want me to be there and even tried to tell me off for coming into the hotel on the evening to go to my room. But the lady the next day was very nice and the breakfast service was great.

Por decir algo, el desayuno fue un poco más flojo que el resto de aspectos.
Prédio lindo, com piscina, localização ótima, quarto amplo com ar condicionado eficiente e banho bom.
Faz muita falta um frigobar no quarto. Existem bebidas na recepção, mas estão em uma geladeira que es deixa a temperatura ambiente…
O café da manhã a la carte também decepciona.

Die Spülung der Toilette ging drei Tage nicht. Wir haben dies gemeldet und erst beim dritten Mal kam jemand vorbei. Als wir ein Flughafentaxi wollten, hat dies nicht funktioniert.
The rooftop deck, pool and breakfast area / bar were really cool. Due to the proximity to the ocean the rooftop deck usually has a nice breeze that made it pleasant to hang out on the patio.
It didn’t look as good as the pictures, which may have been taken a while ago. Also, our standard room on the ground floor was a bit grubby looking and had some sewer gas smell in the bathroom.
We stayed here twice during our time in Cartagena. The first stay was arranged by our fixer, but we loved the place so much that we canceled our next booking elsewhere just to come back.
The rooms are truly unique — thoughtfully designed, inspiring, and full of character. The location is absolutely perfect: close enough to feel the pulse of Cartagena, yet wonderfully quiet, making it the ideal place to slow down and recharge after intense days in the city.
This is the kind of place that stays with you — calm, tasteful, and effortlessly comfortable.
Nothing more than recommend.
