Best host, amazing breakfast and great location! Rooms were very tidy and clean

I really enjoyed my stay, the owner was so kind and friendly, the staff in the attached restaurant and around the property were friendly and helpful too. The room was beautiful, calm and sleek. The balcony had a view of sunset, and this was also the first Greek hotel I’ve stayed in that already had an iron in the room!

Nice stay, friendly staff at the restaurant, great breakfast. Top location for commuting with local buses. We’d come back for sure.

Les chambres sont conformes aux photos : modernes, très propres, le ménage est bien fait au quotidien.
N’hésitez pas à prendre une chambre avec piscine; ça vaut le coup lors de la pause en après-midi! L’hôtel est bien situé à Artemonas. Un plus : les autobus sont accessibles à distance de marche.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Our brilliant host, Antonis, was helpful and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were outstanding. Located close to the bus terminal, you have all of Sifnos at your doorstep. Would definitely stay again if in Sifnos. Highly recommended!

This is a great hotel. Perfectly located near the bus stop in front of the plaza leading into the beautiful walking alleys of Artemonas. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The room and the common areas / gardens are very nice. Amazing coffee and breakfast too. Stay here!

Chambre sale .Nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre avec des draps qui n’avaient pas été changés.la poubelle était pleine . Nous pensions que cela allait être rectifié le jour suivant .Le ménage n’a pas été fait pendant tout la durée du séjour .
Les photos d’hôtels.com ne correspondent pas à la réalité dommages .le petit déjeuner est copieux et service très attentionné .

Le personnel toujours souriant et agréable. Restaurants à proximité en plus de celui de l’hôtel, petit déjeuner copieux et juste à côté de l’arrêt de bus pour sillonner l’île.

I knew Café Smaragdi from my previous stays in Sifnos as I was used to buy coffee thee in the morning before hitting Sifnos trails. I always appreciated the friendliness of their staff, especially Antonis and Yorgo, who always made me feel welcomed.
So, this year, I decided to stay at Hotel Smaragdi and I’m very happy with my choice. Rooms are very nice and clean with good beds and quality toiletries.
As always staff is very friendly and always available if you need help.
Breakfast is super nice as next to a croissant, orange juice and warm drink, you can pick up one meal of your choice from the breakfast menu. Personally, I loved the acai bowl!
Hotel is located in Artemonas just next to the main bus station of Sifnos, which makes it very convenient to move around the island.
I loved my stay at Smaragdi Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful village! The location of the hotel is perfect - regular buses to everywhere on Sifnos are right on its doorstep, and Artemonas itself is utterly charming. Hotel owner, Antonis is relaxed, warm-hearted & friendly & has imbued his staff with the same attitude - they are efficient, considerate, polite & professional. Our hotel room was lovely & cleaned regularly. Would come back here in a heartbeat. They couldn’t do enough for us in every way. An absolute highlight of our trip. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Friendly village atmosphere.

This was the best place we stayed during our month long trip to Greece. We loved the staff and the breakfast! The coffee was also excellent and the location was perfect for exploring the island by foot, bus, and car…. All of which we did during our multi-day stay.

Nice hotel on Sifnos. Basically across the street from the bus terminal - allows easy connections to Ferry terminal, as well as around island. Hotel in style of the white buildings of the Cyclades Islands, and carries that approach inside - gave the room a nice atmosphere. Good sized, nice rain shower, comfy bed. Good airconditioning. Freshly cooked breakfast on outside terrace. Friendly service.

Les chambres sont situées à proximité immédiate du restaurant de l'hôtel avec musique très bruyante jusqu'à très tard le soir (bien après minuit). Comme les chambres sont mal insonorisées, on entend la musique et les nuits sont raccourcies. Hôtel à déconseiller pour les voyageurs voulant se reposer le soir. Petit-déjeuner très peu copieux et service mal aimable et très lent.

Artemonas is a convenient and beautiful location. The hotel is placed in the center of Artemonas which made visiting Apollonia and other sights easy, including by walking the short trail between the two villages. The à la carte breakfast was tasty and generous, including our favorite, avocado and tomato toasts, and loose-leaf green and black tea. The room was rather small but with a balcony with a view on the main pedestrian street and Apollonia below that made it more functional. One thing we did not like at all was the bathroom, which was small, smelly and not so functional. There was a nice outside area with sofas to chill out that made it more friendly for a break from the room.

All personnel and especially Mr Antonis who is the owner, were very kind and willing to assist .
Hotel is at a Great spot in the village just were you would pick even as a local to be.

Clean safe and 100%decent apartments for their price.
The breakfast area is at the same restaurant bar right next to the rooms so very convenient.
Artemonas is a key place to the centre of the isle and easier to move around sightseeings and beaches the whole time.
I recommend you to try as many breakfast menu plates you can . All were delicious!
