Un bel appartement, spacieux et intime avec une grande terrasse avec jacuzzi privatif et petit coin salon cosy. Le personnel est très à l’écoute, les filles sont adorables et veulent vraiment que notre séjour se déroule dans les meilleures conditions possibles.
Bien situé pour la randonnée et à 10mn en voiture de Sougia

We love staying here. We have been twice already and will come again. The location is perfect as we love to both hike mountains and laze by the sea, so we are situated very well for both of those activities. There are many worthwhile hikes accessible nearby, several beaches (both secluded and public), and Sougia and Palaiochora are lovely towns that are within relatively quick reach. We love the restaurant above (everything on the menu is a must-try—even the fries are phenomenal as they taste like they’re cut fresh to order). You have to have the boureki! It’s a daily special, so if you miss it one day, be sure to go back. The staff at Monastery are incredibly hospitable and professional. They’re always very accommodating and you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Also, the food is delicious! Do try it! We also loved the housekeeping. The woman who does this is very thorough and thoughtful; she considers every detail and leaves the place feeling so fresh and inviting each day. Coming back after she’d been there felt special, like someone put love into the place—more than just a job; sincere and genuine care for the space and the experience. Last but not least, we were very lucky to share our balcony with a mama cat and her two babies. We absolutely loved bonding with them for the week, and I was very sad to leave them! We will be back again next year. We can’t recommend Monastery enough for a budget-friendly but very comfortable stay in the gorgeous Cretan mountains.

The location is perfect for travelers that desire a remote escape, the views are magnificent and despite the remoteness there is a great restaurant nearby and Sougia is close as well with a small supermarket and more restaurant options. The rooms in Monastery estate retreat are really nice with big windows and modern interior. The staff is very nice and accomodating. We went there for a birthday and they surprised us with a wine bottle that we drank in the jacuzzi on the balcony, a perfect end to a great day.

Great mountain location for exploring from Sougia to Elafonisi Beach. We loved spending the evenings in the hot tub on our deck, which you fill yourself to the desired temperature.

Breakfast was excellent, delivered to our room with a smile.

Apartment ist wunderschön eingerichtet und extrem groß. Man hat alles, was man braucht. Alles sehr sauber und bequem.
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Berge. In der Umgebung gibt es einfach nichts. Hier kann man ganz entspannt die Zweisamkeit genießen.

Accueil très professionnel et sympathique. Le personnel est très attentionné et réactif.
L'appartement est spacieux,confortable ,bien équipé , au calme. Grande terrasse très agréable équipée d'un SPA très propre.
Le petit déjeuner ( en supplément) est très varié et excellent.

Beautiful place in an idyllic setting with the most welcoming staff. We found our stay completely relaxing with the bookable sauna, private hot tub and places to relax and enjoy the Mountain View’s. Everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back one day!
