Wir hatten ein Apartment gebucht und wurden auf eine Suite upgegradet. Das Zimmer war zwar schön, aber nicht das, was wir wollten- schade.
Le calme
Le manque d’insonorisation, le ménage pas fait tous les jours ( au moins vider la poubelle), l’eau qui fuit sur la terrasse.
The location is perfect for travelers that desire a remote escape, the views are magnificent and despite the remoteness there is a great restaurant nearby and Sougia is close as well with a small supermarket and more restaurant options. The rooms in Monastery estate retreat are really nice with big windows and modern interior. The staff is very nice and accomodating. We went there for a birthday and they surprised us with a wine bottle that we drank in the jacuzzi on the balcony, a perfect end to a great day.
Monastery estate guesthouse rooms are quite dark.
Great mountain location for exploring from Sougia to Elafonisi Beach. We loved spending the evenings in the hot tub on our deck, which you fill yourself to the desired temperature.
Breakfast was excellent, delivered to our room with a smile.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Berge. In der Umgebung gibt es einfach nichts. Hier kann man ganz entspannt die Zweisamkeit genießen.

L'appartement est spacieux,confortable ,bien équipé , au calme. Grande terrasse très agréable équipée d'un SPA très propre.
Le petit déjeuner ( en supplément) est très varié et excellent.
Beautiful place in an idyllic setting with the most welcoming staff. We found our stay completely relaxing with the bookable sauna, private hot tub and places to relax and enjoy the Mountain View’s. Everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back one day!

the location was excellent
Odor of sewer in the bathroom; we would have liked a more environmentally conscious hotel with fans and screens at the windos for the flies/mosquitos. Most of the times the ac was not necessary.
Perhaps the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. The views were breathtaking and location was perfect— close to Sougia and Samaria Gorge where we had a beautiful day of hiking. Very romantic for our honeymoon and the staff were beyond kind, generous, and helpful. It was a perfect stay with so much beauty that we will never forget! Highly recommended!!
The estate surpassed our expectations. The view from our room was absolutely breath taking. We enjoyed coffee in the morning with the White mountains as our view. My wife watched as a local farmer's sheep herd mades its way down the road. We loved the traditional Cretan food at the local tavernas. The short distance to the water front village of Sougia was nice. Many restaurants to choose from. We truly enjoyed our stay!
Very friendly and client focused hosts. Out in the nature place, with no other noises than from birds and wind. Hot pot or sauna are so nice at the end of an active day. Nice hike opportunities nearby.
The shower in room no. 1 is a bit small (especially in comparison to the total room size).
