COCKROACH INFESTED!

Cockroaches and rude staff made anything that would have been likeable irrelevant.

COCKROACH INFESTED.

Within the hour (as I was bringing our things into the room) a cockroach had found its way onto my and my daughter's lunch that I'd placed on the room's desk. I called the front office to tell them they had roaches in the room. They said they would switch my room to which I asked if I could get the key to the new room so I could move my things directly into it, but was told "No," I had to put my things out of the current room first (I was on the 2nd floor and had already spent 30 minutes transfering my and my daughters things to the room going up and down the stairs and would have to load it all in my vehicle again before being given the key card to the next room). I then asked if the other room had been treated more recently for bugs and the woman on the phone hung up on me.

I then went downstairs to the office and was told cockroaches being in the room was my "opinion" and that no one else who was in the room before had complained. After asking, I was told the next room had not been treated any more recently for bugs so I told them I'd like to cancel my reservation. They told me they were going to charge me for the first night. I asked them how can they do that when the room is unfit for guests. I would not have canceled otherwise. The woman at the register said she'd ask the manager but the manager who was in back said "she's paying for the first night."

I asked when the money would be returned and was told 7 to 10 business days. I told the woman that left me with nothing to get another hotel that week and asked if they could return it in cash. The answer was no, so I had to leave not knowing where me and my daughter were going to stay that night and week.

I was able to borrow the money from a family member and we were able to get a room elsewhere. Had it not been for my family member we would have been homeless that week.

It's a motel 6 but no longer $6 a night

Cons:

Had to switch rooms as first unit never cleaned but the replacement unit was fine

Hotel from Hell !!! Would never recommend for anyone.
Pros:

Rear view mirror when I was leaving!!! The only thing clean in the room was the sheets.

Cons:

Apparent drug dealers in parking lot, partying, smoking weed in front of rooms on sidewalk., Noise all night long, looks like long term rentals are living there, overall a real dump, full of roaches

Motel 6 had a great, attentive, caring staff that carried the experience.
Pros:

Stayed at this Motel 6 and honestly the staff carried the whole experience (in a good way). Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We lost our room keys a few times and every single time they replaced them fast, free, and with a smile. Really appreciated how chill and patient they were. Would stay again just because of the service.

Cons:

Some of the neighbors were loud, but staff handled diligently.

Don't ever book this place I wasn't even able to get my room
