The owner Francesca is an exceptional Owner/manager of their property! We received a warm welcome, she upgrageded us to a larger room with a huge bathroom, and she even served us bruschetta and cheeses on our porch with our late arrival. Breakfast on the veranda was exceptional & delicious, not only the selection and quality of the offerings but also her professionalism and attention to detail and to our every need. I miss my 2 cappuccinos every mornig that she served me! Francesca booked dinner reservations for us nightly and helped direct us to a pharmacy for our needs. The bed was very comfy, the views outstanding and access to all of the sites convenient but a car is necessary. Waking up to the sounds of birds as we sat on our porch was great! We absolutely loved everything about our Borgo Alba Barona stay! Thank you dear Francesca & family!

Potrzebowałem ciszy, spokoju i odpoczynku od miasta i miejsce spełniło wszystkie moje potrzeby.

Dodatkowo Signora Francesca swoją gościnnością sprawiła, że naprawdę czułem się jak na wakacjach u ulubionej cioci.

Un lieu adorable très bien situé pour parcourir la côte et l'intérieur. S'y reposer est un délice au milieu d'une nature verdoyante, à quelques minutes de la mer mais avec le calme des collines de la Gallura. Francesca nous a reçu très agréablement, nous a transmis de nombreuses idées de visites et de bonnes tables. Son petit déjeuner est un plaisir. Les chambres sont spacieuses. La salle de bain est lumineuse et agréable. Il fait bon vivre dans la propriété de Francesca. Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux.

Beautiful and peaceful stay surrounded by nature. The property feels calm, relaxing, and very well kept, with lovely views of the surrounding mountains.

The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. Francesca was super friendly, kind, and helpful, which made the stay feel even more welcoming.

Breakfast was a highlight, fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great quality, especially compared to many other stays we had in Italy.

The location is perfect if you want to be in nature, while still being within an easy drive to nearby towns and places to visit. A wonderful stay for peace, beautiful surroundings, and genuine hospitality.

It was the best service we have ever had.

A peaceful and magnificent setting, an excellent breakfast, and a host (Francesca) who bends over backwards to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I arrived early in the morning, and my room was already ready for an early check-in (at 10 a.m) after I requested it. Francesca was happy to offer and serve me breakfast right away (which normally only started the next day). She recommended excellent restaurants and activities, while doing everything she could to make my vacation perfect from start to finish. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a private outdoor terrace overlooking the hills and the sea as an added bonus. Thank you to Francesca and her family for all their little touches that really make the difference. Don’t hesitate to stay in this little corner of paradise — it’s a true gem!
