The staff went out of there way to make sure I was able to keep my reservation i made back in December 2025, finally got a room which was 236 had a joint door on it and the people next door were smoking Marijuana in the room plus cigarettes, it had our room smelling very bad, the staff got us a new room ASAP room 216 which the didnt have a working air conditioning they wanted us to give them a chance to fix it which took 3 as I stayed 6 nights 2 of the nights my room and clothes smelled like weed, third night we didn't have air conditioning and the room was hot they gave us a fan which worked ok, I was offered a new room when I had 1 night left to stay which didn't make sense when I was leaving in a day, I was told I would get a refund for the 3 nights and pay for the night which I didnt have any problems, then I was told they won't do thay as they offered me a room when I had one night left to stay which didnt make sense after all I went through those 1st 3 and half days

Cons:

The staff was very good, its just I was offered a refund for the 1st 3 nights and pay for the last three nights at the hotel. I was told sense I didnt want to change rooms the last night as the air didnt work that was their offer to me to fix the problem which didn't make much sense to me as I had one night left to stay.

This is an updated old-timey Motel 6 with cinderblock walls. Perfectly clean and excellent location!
Pros:

The hotel is dated but overall excellent. Beds were great. Pillows were great. Wood floors were clean. Great shower/tub. The Old Pancake House borders the property so a short walk from the room.. excellent food and continues the old-timey flavor of the property.. PS We arrived after 10pm and the reservation attendant came out to the car for my girlfriend to add her signature to the checkin procedure.. Way beyond the call of duty!! Excellent overall experience!

Cons:

two double beds barely fit in the room.. but climbing over the end of the bed for one of us wasn't a big deal.

Pros:

The staff was nice. The room was clean and the area was quiet and near food and shopping.

Cons:

They ask for your phone number at check in and then we started recieving spam calls and messages the very next morning like they sold the information. They called at 9am to ask about the stay and we had not checked out yet. The bed was hard and pillows were lumpy, no fridge or microwave, very basic room for a night. . They also charge for parking and late check out if you want it.

Perfect Location
Pros:

This location is unbeatable if you wish to visit Scottsdale and really see Old Town and the wonders of the high-end shopping mall! I'm old and everything was wonderfully walkable!
The staff is knowledgeable and quite polite. The parking lot has the advantage of being adjacent to the shopping mall parking lot (so their security vehicles would notice "unusual activity")

Cons:

The room itself was clean, but the furnishings and fixtures are suffering from wear and tear.
There also seem to be voucher recipients living on the property I felt a bit vulnerable in the halls as I was traveling alone.
