Frukostbuffén
Små rum. För små lakan i sängarna. Störande ljud från Saltsjöbanan utanför fönstret. Personalen är inte särskilt service-minded.
The main hotel is beautifully decorated with lovely artwork etc.
It is very easy to get into Stockholm with bus stop right next to hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
There’s a great pizza restaurant just round the corner which we’d very much recommend.
This hotel did not feel suitable at all for children. We didn’t realize this when we booked! There were numerous conference guests there and the communal spaces did not feel welcoming for families. The menu is very much aimed at adults and there was only one meal option for children in the downstairs restaurant (meatballs). No options aimed at kids at breakfast.
There are various activities like lawn games, an outside gym and bikes for adults but no games at all for children.
It’s a very nice hotel but really would just suit an adult stay. This is perhaps our error as saw the hotel recommended on a blog for travelling with kids.
In the room there are no coffee or tea making facilities/ water and no beach towels to use at the little beach or sauna. This felt unusual in a 4 star hotel. The phone to reception also didn’t work.
Please note - the little beach is very small so not really an activity, more somewhere to have a quick paddle.
Fabulous location, very relaxing and very easy to get to from Stockholm
I would recommend the larger double if staying a few days as the space is tight.

The indoor climatw is not healthy; humid/mould.
Nice breakfast and a great sea view.
It was not a pleasant stay. Upon arrival, my key card didn't work, so I walked back to reception,less than two minutes away. Instead of offering a quick solution, the receptionist blamed me, claiming my phone demagnetized it. If a two-minute walk next to a phone wipes out a key card, the hotel's key quality is concerning. Sure enough, my key failed again on the third day. Fortunately, a different receptionist was much nicer, acknowledged that they experience this issue sometimes, and replaced it right away.
On the second day, housekeeping opened my door without knocking while I was still in bed, even though I hadn't put out a "Make Up Room" sign. The housekeeper stared at me without apologizing, and when I asked her to come back later so I could get dressed, she refused and kept staring until I felt forced to say, "Maybe not today." After getting ready, I saw her cleaning the room next door, so I hung the "Make Up Room" sign on my handle before leaving. When I returned later, the sign had been flipped over to "Do Not Disturb," and my room was completely untouched.
I may have just been unlucky with a few rude staff members, as most of the team was pleasant and the breakfast was nice. However, the service issues made for a frustrating stay.
It’s a multi-building hotel, some of which are beautiful, interesting, and grounds that are beautifully situated on the shore
A wedding and a conference took place during our stay, the hotel gets very busy and we did feel like we were spare parts around the edges during the gatherings. The food in the downstairs restaurant isn’t interesting and very limited.

le buffet du soir de l'été (un peu cher néanmoins) et la vue sur la mer depuis la terrasse du restaurant
un mariage pendant deux jours sur place. Nous n'avons pas été averti lors du check-in et de fait nous n'avons pas pu accéder à certains équipements de l'hotel : espace jeu à l'ombre et chaises longues avec vue mer.
aucune information, il a fallu que j'aille demander lorsque nous avons vu des tables et chaises installées dans le jardin.
Vincafeet présenté comme un endroit où on peut manger un bout à tout moment de la journée : pénurie de sandwich et scones à 11h, et équipe totalement débordée sur les deux jours où tous les invités du mariage étaient sur place. Pas très agréable pour les "guests" standards de l'hotel.
