We had a wonderful stay at this charming small hotel in Greece. It was incredibly easy to find, which was a welcome relief after a long travel day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home — warm, welcoming, and always ready with a smile or helpful tip.
One of the standout features was the service. The staff went above and beyond, even giving us local dinner recommendations that led us to one of the best meals of our trip.
The hotel is thoughtfully equipped with a lift, which made getting our luggage to the room hassle-free. Our room had an unforgettable view of the Ionian Sea and we could hear the gentle sound of the surf at night, which made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Breakfast was another highlight and was easily one of the best we had in Greece. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served with care, from the local pastries to the strong Greek coffee.
The only minor downside was the mattress, which was quite firm for our taste.
Overall, this hotel was a fantastic base for exploring the region, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The combination of location, service, and atmosphere made it a memorable stay.
Super h hotel
Lovely hotel with great seaviews and with very friendly and helpful staff.
Great isolated beach with a great and courteous staff. My wife and I loved the place and it was close to Olympia.
The hotel appearance and view was spectacular and exactly as depicted. Unfortunately we didn’t feel welcomed by staff when we arrived, were given no instructions for our safe (until we had to ask), and had no TV in our room as advertised (it was an old computer monitor with 6 Greek antenna channels), so we could not connect our international box via HDMI, which we needed for our kids’ shows & live sports. Thankfully when we asked they made it right and installed a flat screen Tv in our room on the last day, and covered one of our meals, which we appreciated. I would kindly recommend having a more friendly, welcoming and smiling concierge, as the front of house sets the tone of the stay. The nicest person was Ioanna who worked at the restaurant. I wish she was the concierge as she was inviting, pleasant, and approachable. Also online it says they have a Jacuzzi and Spa, which they did not, so make sure you do your due diligence prior to staying here to ensure it actually has what you want.
Everyone was very friendly. We had a great dinner and the most amazing breakfast at the property. The views from our balcony, the dinner area, and the beach were incredible.
The very best little hotel with most friendly staff. Location , pool and beach wonderful. And not at last best restaurant and food, what mama do with best knowledge of tradition. Like to come here again !
Our stay here was very short but the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Waiting for us to arrive (quite late) due to travel issues and making us something from the kitchen when we finally got there. Great breakfast in the morning and beautiful location, very good for visiting Olympia.
The staff at this hotel could not do enough for you. The place is amazing and to have drinks watching the sunset over the ocean was worth the visit.
My wife and I stayed here 1 night during a week-long trip to Greece. We stayed at 5 different hotels during the week, so we have experiences with several Greek hotels for comparison. We stayed at Hotel Vriniotis during the "low" season at the end of April 2015. There appeared to be only 4-5 other guests staying at the hotel during that time. As a result, the hotel restaurant was closed, but the desk clerk offered to make us some food if we wanted.
The room was spacious, clean, and typical of Greek hotel rooms (queen bed with no box spring). The bathroom offered a stand-up shower with a sliding door (no bathtub). Hair dryer was provided, as was an in-room safe, towels, and travel soaps. The room we were given was on the 3rd floor and faced the ocean & beach, complete with a balcony with two chairs and a small table. We left the balcony door open and listened to the sounds of the ocean all night.
The hotel can be challenging to find without a GPS. It's in a secluded area at the end of a road, right on the beach. The beachfront is rocky, not much of a sandy beach, but the view is wonderful and it's nice to relax so close to the water and still be right next to your hotel.
Since we opted not to eat in the closed restaurant (though it was offered), we drove to Pyrgos (about 15 minutes away) and got some takeout Greek souvlaki. There isn't much near this hotel, but it was a great option for spending a night prior to traveling to Ancient Olympia, about 40 minutes away.
