Excellent friendly staff. Also loved the breakfast.
No channels on TV. The key cards constantly had to be renewed. One lift seemed out of service for a long time. So waiting for lifts was quite cumbersome.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t much that I liked about the property. The overall experience was disappointing and not what I expected from the listing.
I was extremely disappointed with my stay. One of the biggest issues was being accused of opening a bottle from the room, which I did not open, yet I was still made to pay for it. I found this extremely frustrating and unfair.
The condition of the property was also disappointing. Some of the walls appeared rusty or poorly maintained, and the lights stopped working on different occasions during our stay. We were also not initially provided with basic items such as slippers and had to ask for them.
Another major issue was the location. The listing gave me the impression that the hotel was located in Bole, but the property was actually around the Piassa area. Location was important when I made the booking, so I found this very misleading.
Overall, the combination of the maintenance problems, missing basic amenities, misleading location information and being charged for something I did not use made this a very frustrating experience. I would not stay here again.

i would like to express my sincere thanks to Joseph and the staff at the Monarch Parkview. their hospitality and warmth made it feel like home. they were very welcoming, attentive to details and considered every request we made. i especially enjoyed the Buna celebration Joseph prepared for us on Friday for our last day of the workshop at ACDC. it was amazing feeling part of the culture.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a busy day. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request, making the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options, and the overall service was efficient throughout my visit.
I would recommend Monarch Hotel to both business and leisure travelers looking for comfortable accommodation, excellent hospitality, and good value for money. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
