Elounda Garden Suites

The suite we stayed in was fantastic. It had two bedrooms and a kitchen and sitting area. It also had two roomy sections of outdoor patio. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a nice little bar at the swimming pool.the only thing it could do better was the pool could use some repairs and a good cleaning.

Anna, Maria, Tony, Bonna and others all went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. I felt super taken care of. Would def recommend!!

We had a lovely week at Elounda Garden Suites. The hotel was very clean both in our suite and in the common areas. We had a car and there was always a parking space available and always some sun beds available around the pool when we wanted them. The service was excellent - all staff were very attentive and made our stay very comfortable. The food at breakfast was great with a cold buffet and hot food cooked to order. The music and bar service around the pool made for very relaxed pool days - the cocktails of the day were particularly good!
Elounda is a lovely bustling town with lots of restaurants, shops and a great beach just a short walk from the hotel. Just a 10 minute walk up the hill in the other direction are BeeRaki (a craft beer Cretan pub) and The Hope restaurant which are a must - the drinks and food were excellent with welcoming service, definitely my favourite places of our trip.

Staff created a very relaxed atmosphere with good services and good facilities.
Rooms perhaps a bit tired and shower not easy to operate.

We were delighted with our 3 night stay and wish we had longer. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and facilites were spotlessly clean. The location is absolutely perfect and a very short walk to the water and the gorgeous tavernas for our evening meals. The pool area was perfect and very relaxing with drinks and food on offer. Shout out to Anna and all the staff for making our stay so memorable, we will definitely be booking a return visit! Thank you

Second stay here. Tiny hotel with a big heart

Excellent location close to the centre of Elounda but in a quiet area. Friendly staff, nice and clean accommodation with rooms located around a central pool area. Well designed layout. Great hospitality on arrival with wine, drinks and fruit in the room. Well worth returning.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. As we were getting married in Elounda I emailed the hotel before our arrival to make sure it was ok for us to invite guests over who were not staying at the hotel and they were more than happy for us to do so.
On our arrival we found we had been upgraded to a wonderfully spacious family suite and the fridge had a complimentary bottle of wine and water. On the day of the wedding, while we were out at lunch, Anna and her helpers, decorated the suite with hearts and rose petals and left a beautiful bouquet of flowers and bottle of champagne which all helped to make our wedding day in Crete the beautiful day that it was.
As for the hotel itself, it is spotlessly clean with a nice relaxing pool area and is only a couple of minutes walk from the main town square, restaurants and beach. SOme of our friends also stayed at the hotel and they were as impressed as we were with the rooms, pool area and particularly the friendliness of the staff.
A huge thank you to Anna, Mario and all the other staff at the EGS, we would definitely love to stay here again and certainly recommend it it anyone else staying in Elounda.

Warm and welcoming staff who were very familiar with Elounda town and its restaurants. Pool nice to cool off on the hot days—it would be nice if their bar staff went around and asked sunbathers every once in awhile for drink orders. Good mix of private and public spaces on the property. Rooms were very clean. We weren’t thrilled with the town of Elounda but chose it more as a jumping off place for day trips in the region.

We liked everything about our stay here, location is central Elounda. Room was comfortable and cleaned every day. Bath robes and slippers were a lovely touch. The pool was relaxing and the staff first class. Good selection of food and drinks...all served with a 5 star rating. Elounda Garden Suites is an outstanding place to stay in such an unspoiled location in Crete.

Pros: Friendly staff, good location, good sized room, quiet.
Cons: horrible water proof mattress and pillow protectors, insufficient pool loungers, poor WiFi, inadequate directions and very limited parking.

Very nice little property in the heart of Elounda. From our arrival until departure, everyone was welcoming and efficient, especially Maria and Anna. Breakfast is simple but high quality local products. The lady who serve breakfast is flexible and does amazing eggs! We were upgraded to a suite facing the pool for our anniversary. A bottle of wine and fruits were waiting for us in the room and a welcome drink at the reception! The suite was simple and functional with a little kitchenette. I would have put a little flat note for the cleanliness that could be improved, especially for dusting furniture on daily basis because i am a bit allergic to dust, but he ho, it was ok. Amenities are at your disposal as well. Pool area are well maintained with a lovely little bar. We would have appreciated a heated pool in April/May/ coz the water was more than chilly. The Greek hospitality went beyond our expectation. We felt very spoilt. This property is a real hidden gem and 5min walk from the village! Thank you to the team for being so attentive to our needs and be so friendly.

The perfect balance between hotel and apartment. All the services of a hotel but with a small kitchen area which is just right for breakfast or a light lunch. The staff are all exceptional, very warm and friendly but totally professional. Great location with all the amenities of Elounda close by but really quiet. No sea view but lovely views of the surrounding mountains and olive groves. Our room was spacious with two balconies: one with loungers, the other a table and chairs. There was even a small airier, with pegs provided, for drying swimwear, etc. The pool area was clean with plenty of comfortable loungers.

Elounda is a beautiful village in Crete where friendliness abounds. We had a perfect Holiday.

Amazing hotel, amazing place! This hotel is excellent value for money - excellent food, spacious rooms, clean confortable. I would recommend this hotel above lots of five star places I have stayed. It really is fabulous. Only negative I can say is the beds aren't as comfortable as they could be but that is a minor thing I would not let that put you off!

Me, my wife and our youngest son stayed here for a few days as she'd always wanted to go to Spinalonga. From the moment we walked through the garden (lemon, orange, grapefruit and olive trees) we loved it. It is new, spotless and perfect for chilling out.
We stayed over Easter and the staff and owners put on a special barbecue for the guests to make up for the fact that much of the village was closed. The welcome was as warm as the beautiful weather...
The food was beautifully prepared and presented every day and the staff were always willing to give advice or guidance on how to make the most of each day.
