The place is conveniently located and staff are very friendly.

Cons:

The place is overpriced and pictures on the booking app are different from reality. I booked an Executive Room but what I was given was poor. Asked about it and was told that it was an executive room. Probably true but the room was not up to hotel standard.

1 star service for 4 star prices
Pros:

I booked a 12-night stay at Nile Village Hotel, expecting a relaxing 4-star experience (in November 2025) - which is what they advertise themselves as. Instead, I walked directly into a construction zone. The swimming pool was completely shut, and although the spa, sauna, steam room and gym were technically “open”, the constant drilling throughout the day made them unusable. The noise was so loud it could be heard from the road outside the hotel.

None of this was communicated before arrival, despite the hotel knowing the facilities had been closed since 1 November. Management offered minimal compensation (three ciders), repeatedly failed to give clear answers, and left me to find alternative accommodation myself before finally agreeing to move me, after I contacted Expedia to complain.

The experience was nowhere near what was advertised, and the lack of transparency and customer care was extremely disappointing.

Decent stay at the Nile Village Hotel and Spa
Pros:

The location is good. The breakfast was also decent. The staff were good. The security was good and they also have ample parking space

Cons:

The rooms need a little touch-up to be value for money. Could do with a complimentary bottle of water in the room

Pros:

The location is convenient for the attractions of Jinja. The cleanliness was good.

Cons:

The nice part of the hotel from the pictures is the garden and pool area but these are currently a building site due to renovations which I was not warned about. My ‘Deluxe Double Room’ was right by the road and did not have the promised garden or pool view. The a/c was not working. Once fixed, I discovered the refrigerator was not working. When I tried to call reception to let them know - the room phone was not working. There were broken tiles and damp in the bathroom. WiFi was patchy. Overall poor value for money as this is one of the more expensive hotels in Jinja.

Very nice place witj polite staff!!
Pros:

Everything was ok, besides the shower.

Cons:

The shower had some issues.. some equipments were broken and they promised they would fix, because they had gotten a similar complaint before.
