I think the best hotel at Skyros island

Great stay at Skiros Palace! Our 2nd time visiting and we will come back again. It's a very familial vibe and the location is right on the beach. The excursions are good and the animators know a lot about the island. Special mention to Samer and Maria who are always kind and knowledgeable. My baby got sick during our stay and Samer helped us immensely with the situation and continued to check on her during the whole trip. Thanks for a great week!

Stayed for a week alone with my 5-yr old kid (all-inclusive) and it couldn't be any better.
All the assistance needed was well provided, from information, excursions and free bus services to the other beach and to the city center.

Room: Spacious and cleaned daily by these lovely and nice staff. With a balcony and garden view. The sheets and towels provided smell sooo good!!

Food: Lots and good choices from vegan to meat lovers (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The staff at the restaurant always smiles and gives you warm welcome all the time!

Cannot comment on the animation for kids since we're always out though at night there are some games and gatherings for all that last till midnight.

Smoking area: The only thing that they could maybe improve, especially since there are kids around. You can even smell it while sitting on the couch at the reception.

The best part: Feeling really safe wherever you are in the hotel facility and not having to worry about what and when to eat and what to do because there's always something to do: Pool, beach, walking by the beach, city visit, tennis, table tennis, basketball, billiards. Especially if you're alone with a kid.

Overall, this place is highly recommended for all types of travelers, with family, friends, couples, or solo.

Dejligt sted. Jeg skulle bruge et par overnatninger inden jeg skulle videre, og det var et skønt ophold med meget venligt personale, god mad og fint værelse.

The hotel is amazing... the staff is very polite and with a smile always. Mr. Thodoris the chef of the restaurant was amazing ... we tried all the plates and truly they have made a marvellous job there.

Schönes Hotel mit geräumigem Zimmer, gutem Essen, liegt etwas abseits, aber direkt am schönen Strand, nachts zu Fuß eher weit zum nächsten Lokal, aber das eigene Restaurant ist gut, man MUSS also nicht weg. ;-) Preise günstig, auch für Snacks am Pool.

Kam erst um 22 h an, der Manager fragte, ob ich hungrig bin, wollte in der Küche anrufen, ob sie noch etwas für mich haben. Hab verneint und dafür für den nächsten Tag "ein Goodie" bekommen. Griechische Gastfreundschaft eben! :-)

Great location and delicious food served in the hotel made with local ingredients. The beach is just nearby and if you don’t fancy the beach the swimming pool is really clean and big.

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν πολύ καλό και η εξυπηρέτηση πολύ καλή. Πολύ καλά και καθαρα δωμάτια . Το φαγητό καλό (πήραμε ημιδιατροφή). Η πισίνα καλή σε μέγεθος αλλά μόνο 1,40 μέτρα βάθος. Το pool bar άψογο με πολύ καλά ποτά και πιάτα και πολύ καλές και φτηνές τιμές . Γενικά όλα μας έκαναν πολύ καλή εντύπωση και συστήνεται το κατάλυμα για οικονομικές οικογενειακές διακοπές . Απόσταση από την πόλη της Σκύρου μόνο 10’ με το αυτοκίνητο .

L hôtel est bien entretenu, les parties communes,le jardin sont agréables et propres.

Stayed in August for one week with my family (wife and 2 children 16 and 13). We had a really good time overall. The communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was very good and the staff that we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bathroom towels had a very fresh smell. However, the bathroom extraction and the headboard were quite dusty and were not cleaned during our stay (not a big deal). The food was always fresh and well cooked. It was very nice to taste local products and vegetables from the hotel's organic garden. The meat dishes were great, but they could better with the fish dishes. Desserts were OK, but the fruit selection was limited (watermelon, melon, apples, oranges, and pears). The animation was not very exciting and it was always the same in the mornings and afternoons. One thing that we didn't like was that the animation team as well as other staff members were staying at the pool bar and were smoking even though they were still on duty. We really liked the free shuttle service to the Skiros town. The driver was very polite and helpful. Special mention to the ladies at the reception desk (especially Eleni), and the pool bar male team. The females at the pool bar need to work on their smiles! We went to the hotel's beach a couple of times, where you can find just sunbeds and sun umbrellas. WiFi was a big disappointment, but as we were explained by the hotel team, it was an island general issue and not a hotel specific. All in all a good value for money, with very good service, great food, and good drinks. If they fix a couple of small issues mentioned above, then our next stay will be perfect.

(week long stay) thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Excellent value for money and superbly helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. Skyros is a lovely little gem of an island surrounded by untouched beaches and landscapes as well as friendly greek locals. It really is a place where the clock stops running and leave every behind for a while . Clean big rooms with a lovely little balcony; buffet style meals with different themes throughout the week. Different paid activities are posted throughout the week for you to sign up as well .

Definitely recommend renting a car ( you can do that through the reception) because you can see so much more of the local scenery driving around and exploring island at your own pace.

All in all amazing stay and lovely hospitality from the hotel and it's staff. Will definitely come back again!

Stayed two nights as part of a Timothy's Family bus tour of the island of Skyros. Twin beds with bunk beds. Very clean, small balcony & plenty of hot water & great shower. The buffet breakfasts & dinners were very good. Did not use the pool - opted to make to short walk to the hotel beach with cahirs & umbrellas

I believe that the hotel "SKYROS PALACE" is a very good , comfortable and unique.I am very happy and i gain a lot of memories. Now what i would like to tell you is that the hotel and especially the chef should change the menou of the dinner. Its awful

Skiros Palace is a nice hotel. I had a spacious room with a view of the courtyard. Breakfast was plentiful. Anna at the reception desk was extremely friendly and helpful.
However, the location of the hotel is not convenient if you don't have a car, as it is outside the Chora (but a short taxi ride to it if you have 8 euros each way). Also, the weekend that I stayed, there was a wedding celebration at the swimming pool, and Saturday night was filled with loud music that lasted all night.

Πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο, πολύ ωραίες δραστηριότητες, πολύ καλό φαγητό. Μόνο αρνητικό, κάποιες ελλείψεις στο pool bar. Επίσης, η αρχική άρνηση για κατοικίδιο. Τελικά το πήραμε το ζωάκι μας και δεν ενοχλήθηκε κανείς!

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο. Άνετοι χώροι , καθαριότητα , καλό φαγητό. Με λίγες μικροβελτιώσεις (π.χ σεσουάρ, μερικές ομπρέλλες επιπλέον στην πισίνα) θα άγγιζε το τέλειο για την κατηγορία του.

We were picked up at the airport and swiftly taken by bus to the hotel. I must admit that when the bus turned left away from the main town of the island we were somewhat alarmed, but we shouldn't have been. It's a lovely hotel with friendly staff, a small pool and a short walk to a fantastic beach. Go half board, as their buffet dinner is the very best on the island, and we tried a few before making that realisation.

Rooms were clean, tidy and spacious, but do get a car as it's quite a long way from many things.

εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση, φιλικότατο και αποτελεσματικό προσωπικό, καταπληκτική παραλία και θάλασσα, καθαριότητα σε όλους τους χώρους εκτός από την παραλία, πολύ σχέση τιμής και προσφοράς, καλό πρωινό που επιδέχεται βελτίωση για να χαρακτηρισθεί άριστο, απομονωμένη τοποθεσία, γενικά πολύ ευχάριστη διαμονή
